I could no longer visit the mission because the people's spirits had been dampened by the recent crime there when a young man lost his life. I was invited to visit a family who were relatives of the ones who committed the murder. They used to live in the village where our mission is but they had to leave for fear that they might get hurt by the victim's family. They went to live with some relatives and sent a message through a child to invite me to come and pray for them. I didn't go because I felt caught in between. I was respected by both of the parties and didn't want to generate any additional conflicts. I pray that God will give a solution to this conflict. I continued to meet with the children that come to church every week. We prayed, we had bible study together and had computer lessons. I did my best to plant the love for His word in their hearts. I insisted on the authority of the Scripture rather than the Orthodox traditions and customs.

I shared the gospel with eight young people from Frunzanesti. They live on the outskirts of the village. They listened to me carefully but feel embarrassed to come to church as they fear that people would make fun of them.

I made three pastoral visits and 30 evangelistic ones in Pisicari and Frunzanesti. I fasted together with the whole church and handed out tracts and New Testaments. I went to the school where Rebecca goes and had a long talk about God with her teacher. Her name is Magda and she is in her 30s. She used to resist the Word.
