Through the Lord's mercy and grace I continued to get involved in Patrauti de Sus village. I would like to share with you the most important events of this month. A family from our church that had immigrated into Belgium returned home for a few months. They were on vacation. This family was in charge of our musical program in the church before their immigration. In July they prepared the musical programs each Sunday. It was an encouragement for us. They took this opportunity and got involved as much as possible. The bad news is that they have to leave in a few months.

Another joy it was the fact that a lady from our church went with her daughter home on vacation. They had immigrated to America. Because she was a good singer she was involved in our services too.

I also tried to involve all the believers in the Sunday morning services. Each of them read a poem or sang a song or shared a thought. I am glad that the church changed. They are glad to serve and we are happy for God's grace.

We went with the entire church to an evangelistic event in another village. I was able to bring five nonbelievers to this event. They said they were touched.

For several weeks I started to preach Jesus Christ's parables. I simplified the message for those that hadn't read the Bible. I feel that the Lord gives me grace in preaching and the church is touched. I planned to present most of the parables emphasizing Christ and the reaction of those who had listened to him. More people started to attend the church. We try to invite the villagers to the church. Although many promised to come, only a few came. The new priest is more aggressive with us and those who came to our church. Therefore, fewer people come lately. Although we are accused of being heretics and enemies of Christ's cross, we hope that God will give repentance to this village. I continued to encourage those who the priest has persecuted. I explained to them biblically that we were doing what God wanted and commanded us to do.

A man from the church is the only believer from his family. He prays for his wife, children and daughters-in-law who are very religious people. We pray for his family at each service, asking God to open their eyes for understanding the real way. Please pray for this man, Misa and his entire Luchian family.

I visited some of the people that I had visited with the American believers in June. Although they are open and listened to the Gospel, they talk about their needs all the time. They compare themselves to others who are healthy or wealthy. All the time they ask me why they suffer and God does not help them. Almost all of them believe these problems to be more important then their souls. I try to show them that saving their souls and a relationship with the Lord are more important then their financial needs. At the end of the discussions I prayed for them in their homes. On Sundays I shared with the church and we prayed for them.

This month I mobilized the available ladies and men from the church for cleaning out the house where we gather. When the people from the Orthodox church saw us they started to clean the courtyard of their church too. I had fellowship with the men these days and started to see their gifts. I try to get them involved in the ministry that I do.
