I want to share with you the amazing things that God did for us in Pasat this month. Through God's grace we managed to talk with several villagers and shared God's plan with them. We had everything go our way. We had pleasant discussions and they had an interest in the gospel. Two of them promised to come to the church, but they didn't come.

In response to the priest's attitude we were at rest. He didn't stop to fight against us, but he started to realize that he would not be successful in opposing our work..This month we didn't have problems with him. He had problems with the villagers. They started to disapprove of his actions. Usually he comes in Pasat on Saturday evening and sleeps over night with a family. He lives in another village. He asked this family to stop talking to another family from our village that had repented. The two families are related. This family chose not to listen to the priest and told him to look for another host. God used all their discussions for this family to understand certain things from the malicious and militant attitude of the priest. After these discussions Mrs. Lenuta talked to sister Aneta, and God continued to answer her questions. Then they had to face another challenge on whether to come to church. One Wednesday Mrs. Lenuta and her daughter who is the teacher in the village, came to the religious service. For the first time they heard clearly the Word of God. At the end of the service we talked and they told us that for years they attended the orthodox church, but they didn't understand anything from the Word of God. They understood what God wanted from people. They received joyfully and gratefully the Word of God. This is the most beautiful event of this month. We believe that this is a new beginning of  ministry in Pasat.

With the Lord's help we finished the foundation of the church. We will stop for a while because we do not have money. We know that God will help us to finish what we have started. I am glad for the building, but mostly I am glad to see the people listening and receiving the Gospel, repenting and accepting the Lordship of the Lamb of God. I want to be a part of God's ministry in Pasat for this purpose.

Also this month I had the opportunity to lead an evangelism project with a group of young people from Bistrita village, Romania. This is my hometown. I left to be a missionary in Ukraine from the church in this village. The former pastor of this church visited us twice in our first year of mission. We have had eight years of mission now. Then he left to America and the church had another pastor. Every time we went home we told them about the ministry in Ukraine. We invited them to participate in this ministry. And now was the time for it. Twelve young people came with their pastor, Mihai C.. I organized a schedule for them for a week. I wanted to show them our ministry so that they would see where they could get involved. On Thursday, July  23, we went to the church in Tereblecia. On Friday, July 24, we went to the church in Garbova. There we formed four teams. One team worked with the children.

Another team went into a neighboring village, Banceni. This village is next to Garbova, Molnita and Pasat villages where there are evangelical churches. In this village there is one of the most famous monasteries in the Ukraine. For some time we attempted to enter this village. There isn't any believer there. This year we visited several times. We faced hostility, rejection, and some people cursed us, but we found some people that were willing to talk about God and to listen to the Gospel. This time we visited 27 families. In the evening we gathered in the church. The people that we invited didn't come to church. In the evening we had another service in the church in town.

One afternoon we had a youth meeting in Tereblecia. On Monday, July 27, we had two religious services, one in the village of Pasat and one in Bahranesti. Tuesday, July 28, we went into Stanesti village. We had four teams once again. Three teams visited families throughout the village and the last team worked with the children. In the evening we gathered in the church for the service. There were four nonbelievers. It was a good ministry and the Lord gave us grace. We hope we can organize again this kind of events.
