God's ministry in Tereblecia village

It was a demanding month that was full of activities in the church and village. We organized a baptismal service where four young people were baptized. Many guests came from the surrounding villages including many non-Christians. We printed and distributed 200 invitations throughout the village. We also posted 10 posters. Some of them were ripped up by some aggressive people that stood against us. We pray for them that the Lord will have mercy on them as He did with Saul of Tarsus. May God save these people that are zealous for a religion and not for Him! Over 200 people came to the service and 25 of them were non-Christians. They heard the Gospel and some of them even had tears in their eyes. At the end of the service we called the people to repentance, but no one repented publicly. We pray that the Lord will work in their hearts.

After that we had another evangelistic outreach with a group of believers from Bistrita which was followed by two engagements and a wedding. We will celebrate the second wedding next month. The Lord gave me such a great opportunity to preach to over 160 nonbelievers that came to the first wedding. Most of them came for the first time to an evangelical church. After the service many people came to thank me for the words from the Scripture. They said that they enjoyed the wedding in our church. We pray that the Lord will continue to work in their lives.

On Sundays we went through a Bible study with the entire church. After the services I counseled 11 people and prayed with them. At the end of the month we held the youth meeting from Hliboca and Herta counties. The meeting took place in the Germanic church. It was a blessed time. Along with the joys from the baptismal service, engagements and the wedding we also faced sorrows. I had to reprove two men from the church and discipline them because of their sins. We pray for these men that the Lord will help them to repent. Satan fights for ruining our testimony in the village. Please pray that the Lord will keep each believer in His will and that His ministry will progress. I visited four families for counseling.

God's ministry in Cernauti area

This month I had several meetings with the pastors and missionaries for prayer, Bible study and for planning the ministry in summer months. Along with the youth from Suceava we planned a day camp for the children from Bahranesti village. They worked for a week. Almost sixty children came. Then I organized three visits with the believers from Romania in Ropcia, Ciudei and Budesti villages. This month we had many guests from Romania and I had to organize their visits through the villages. Many believers from Romania visited us because they could not go into the Moldova Republic.
