By God's grace I was able to be useful in the Lord's ministry. This month I had a demanding schedule by doing several different things. I had to divide my time between emergencies and needs. I had many activities in Pasat and in other villages. I had a fulfilling time in Pasat. Although we spoke to people about salvation, no one has made a decision for the Lord. Some of them listened to our words and others started to read the Bible. We saw a family that we have been visiting for a long time. They confessed to us that the Word of God was so wonderful. They had never read the Bible before and they are in their 60s. When we met last time they spoke from the Scripture more than we did. Praise the Lord for this work! Regarding the members of our small village church I can gladly say that God continues to work in their hearts. They are more and more transformed. They still have a lot to change, but they are ready to be reformed. I told you about a family of intellectuals some time ago. They wanted to turn to God, but their three sons persecuted them. One son went so far as to bang his mother's head against the door. He threatened to kill her if she would dishonor him by repenting. In spite of all these things the two people continued to seek God. They understood that they had lived their entire life without God and they had the chance to change that. They weren't frightened by their sons' threats, but they were not ashamed to confess their faith in Christ. Five months went by since that day and they are still faithful to God. They even share the Word of God with their children and nephews. Their three sons have ceased to persecute them. We pray that the Lord will have mercy on them and give them salvation. With God's help we managed to finish the papers for the construction of the church in Pasat. We struggled for a year, but God gave us success. We are almost ready to start the construction. May God help us! The villagers just wait to see this. The priest who made a fuss over this started to behave differently. I saw that all things work together for good to them that love God. Ever since I started to work with Misa in Pasat we tried to stick to our business. We had some difficult times when we can't reach people with the Gospel, but we still found houses where we could share the Word. Many times we weren't welcomed as some people threatened us. But We have the religious services in a man's house in Pasat. Between two to five nonbelievers attend almost all the services. I had the opportunity to visit several churches this month. I wanted to help them through the gift and grace that God gave me. Vitalic R. invited me to an evangelistic service in his church. There were six nonbelievers. I also went to another evangelistic service at Volodea G's church. There too the Lord gave us the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel. I have preached two funerals. The first was in Bahranesti village, where almost 50 nonbelievers heard the Gospel. The second funeral was in Stanesti village where there was around 200 nonbelievers.
