This month was an interesting month for us. From the beginning till the middle of the month I was called several times to discuss about the construction of the church. I had to go to the city hall and the police station. These were opportunities to share the Gospel with the policemen and other people that worked in the city hall.

There were also 2 gatherings with all the inhabitants of the village where the priest roused the people against us. Because we weren't intimidated and we continued the construction he tried to stop us. He poured a chemical substance all over the foundation of the building for destroying what we had built. But the chemical didn't damage the foundation.

He tried another extreme method. He went to the village school and he asked help from the teacher. He would have wanted to go with the children through the village and to shout, "We do not want evangelicals in our village!" Because the teacher didn't agree he told her, "You have to fight for our belief!" And she answered, "I am not Stephen the Great!" Stephen the Great had been a Romanian Lord in Moldova. Every time when the priest needed to stay over night in the village he housed in the teacher's family. Now he is no longer welcomed in that family. Even more, this family told us that they wanted to come to our church. After everyone mocked at us God decided to honor us. Our members share with others that God received and saved them. Every one of them use every opportunity to talk to the people in the village.

This month we have been in extreme situations, panic and joy. Although we underwent great trials lately God's grace was seen among us. We learned to pray, love and care for our enemies. Undergoing these trials God unified us. I am full of joy and peace. This is the best time of my life. I am in God's arms. I believe that the prayers of many brothers were a real support. The last 2 months were very busy for me, but I feel fine.

My wife Marta gave birth on June 15th. God gave us another son. They are both ok.

With the entire church we studied the book of Ephesians. I rejoice over the spiritual growth of the members. I am glad that they are a testimony among the villagers.

This month we have been visited by a group of believers from the Church in Stanesti. We had a good fellowship. Brother Sorin Prodan visited us too. His presence was an encouragement for myself as a HeartCry missionary. The HeartCry conference was the most practical conference that I ever attended. The messages were clear, practical, sincere and I appreciated that.

I was honored to be visited by brother Sorin and Don Currin. We had a wonderful fellowship. We talked about our ministry and vision here. In the end we prayed and trusted in the Lord's arm. The fellowship continued next day with brother Don. We talked about HeartCry's vision over the ministry and about my 8 years of mission here.
