Through the Lord's mercy and grace I continued to get involve in Patrauti de Sus village. This time is prepared and blessed by God. I would like to share with you the ministry that HeartCry organized through the U.S. team.
This was the first time that Americans have visited needy people in the village. Although their visit was brief, the people continue to talk about their compassion toward the needy people. The team brought them food and prayed in the name of the Lord over them. We visited over 30 families and was able to share the Gospel with some of them. Although the village is full of empty orthodoxy and tradition, there were people that listened to us. The team and the translators from Romania were around 7 people. For 2 days they visited the people throughout the village even though it was very hot. Some people were so happy that we visited them that they had tears in their eyes. We invited many people to come to the church for hearing the Word of God in the evening. I was surprised to see a young girl from the village that we had visited. I was very disappointed that others didn't come. Some offered the excuse that it was the time for gathering the hay. Although I was disappointed with the lack of attendance during the week, some children and a new visiter came the next Sunday. It was a joy that we shared the Gospel. We were grateful for the entire team. Another thing that I want to share with you is the Heart Cry conference. Don Currin spoke on the family while Sorin Prodan spoke on the minister's integrity. I believe it was one of the most practical conferences that I have ever attended. I had been discouraged and depressed because of the lack of results within the ministry. During this conference God spoked and encouraged me. I thank the brothers for this time. The church is up and we have completed the roof.
