I've been down with the flu for a week this month. Being the shortest month, I did not realize when it was gone. Still, the ministry goes on even when I cannot work. The Lord has His people and each one works according to his gift. In November's report I described at large all the areas of the ministry where I was more or less involved.
We are thankful to God because we have many children in church and we are going to have more. We have 2 groups of children - the Sunday school and the Christian club. Most of the children from the Sunday school come from Christian families. On the other hand, most of the children from the Christian club come from Orthodox families. My wife and I got more involved because the women from our church who used to take care of these groups recently had a baby or will soon. Please pray for someone who can replace them.

Most of the former young people now have their own families and little children. Some of the young people and teenagers continue to work on the puppet drama. They are preparing the summer show. I met some of them for counseling because they often need help. This show will be used for summer camps. Please pray!

Our women's group continues to work, but there is also the same problem - pregnant or with babies. I am often called to replace one of them. The prayer and study program still goes on. Regarding the charity, we can only help financially.  I think the situation is going to improve. Please pray!

Our men's ministry group has been growing both in number and quality. Almost all the men from our church joined this program of "Christian preaching" and "practical evangelism." This group needs me the most. We meet twice a month for preparation, prayer, fellowship and advice. The rest of the time we attempt to put into practice what we learn.

This month I had only two visits in the region. On the first visit I went to the church from Hliboca. This is a small church and needs help in preaching the Word. The second visit - I went to a funeral in Molodia village (Romanian village, Ukrainian relatives) where I preached the Gospel in Ukrainian.

We did not have evangelism in church this month because January was full of such events. However, I try to use every opportunity for personal evangelism and I pray for this. The Lord is giving me many opportunities. This month something special happened. I was called by my friends, members in another church, to evangelize a family who rented a room in their house. This family was involved in occultism. I had two long meetings with this family. They were cursed by a sorcerer and they were "running" from these curses. They were not open for the Gospel. They feared death because the sorcerer prophesied they would die in two weeks. They were also mean because they went to the sorcerer in order to curse the mother of their son-in-law so that she would die.  Please pray for this family, especially for their salvation!
