GOSPEL OUTREACH

I am so thankful to the Lord for another month of blessings and opportunities to share the Gospel and to work in His field.

We planed for mid February an outreach for the districts of Hliboca and Herta in the community centre in Garbova where there are only six believers. We have the prayer house and a family of missionaries. We will go with all the churches to support them in this work. An orchestra from Balt, Moldova will come and sing at this evangelistic event. We have also planed a youth meeting for these two districts in Grusevca. Pray the Lord will give repentance to many sinners and work in the younger generation to willingly serve Him.

This month I have ridden through the villages and to the district department for sixdays with the papers for the land for Pueni. I bought a piece of land of 1300 square metres in Poleana where we want to put up a prayer tent and have a gathering. In this village we have six believers where the Lord gave us the opportunity to preach two funerals where there were many nonbelievers who said that if we put up a tent they will come to the meeting. It was only a few years ago that people chased and beat us through the village. Now they are willing to listen to the Gospel. The Lord heard our prayers and yours by transforming those bad and hard people into good-hearted people who want to come to church. Praise the Lord for that wonderful work. Even the man who sold us the land is not a Christian, but he promised that if we put up the tent he will be the first to come and repent. We pray the Lord will help with the things we need for raising the tent in the summer. We found a missionary family who is going to work in the village. Now they want to come with me and minister in Tereblecia and Pueni. They do not have financial support, but we are praying that the Lord will meet this need. We had several meetings with missionaries and pastors where we study the Bible. We have prayed and planed the ministry for next month. Another thing that I do everyday is visit my wife in the hospital. She has been hospitalized for a few months and I see her two to three times a day. It is a bit difficult for me, but with the Lord's power and help I go forward. Pray for us for being able to overcome all these trials and keep going forward. I can not thank the Lord enough for all of you who stand beside us and help.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Firstly I want to thank you for praying for my family. The Lord heard the prayer. My wife, Lena, is two months pregnant, but she is in the hospital under the doctor attention because of frequent miscarriages. She must stay in the hospital for a long time. Pray that the Lord will enable the baby to be born.

Please pray for the churches in Pasat and Petresivca. Also, remember in prayer the youth conferences in Hliboca and Herta and for the missionary families in Dibrova and Biserica Alba in the Transcarpatia region.

By the Lord's mercy and help this month I visited Tereblecia.nine times. I preached six times and three times we had a Bible study from 1 Timothy chapters 3 and 4. I see progress and it is so wonderful to study a whole book.  We had a massive evangelistic outreach at the death watch and funeral of a non-believer. His family is Christian and we organized the funeral. There were many non-believers who listened very carefully the Gospel. This funeral was in the corner of the village where there are a few believers. We used to pray for a church in that part of the village. The Lord gave us such a wonderful opportunity to preach the Gospel to such a multitude of people. We also had an instructional gathering of the members and made a decision that each member would visit a sick Christian and a family of nonbelievers with the purpose of sharing the Gospel with them and praying with them. After a month everyone will share where he went. I rejoiced because the church starting working. The church in the village is young and the village is very large. The people live without Christ and they need someone to faithfully tell them about God's plan of salvation. I am going to continue this project so that all the members of the church will work for the salvation of such a large village with over 4000 inhabitants. We have a few people that regularly attend church. Before their salvation they were standing against us and mocking us. But the Lord worked wonderfully and now they regularly attend and said they will repent. We prayed for them and ask the Lord to save them. After each Sunday morning service, usually I do not go to have lunch, but I am counseling different people who are believers and nonbelievers. This time I counseled 12 persons and after that I visit a couple families. I visited 10 persons where we had prayed, sang and read the Scripture. I met unsaved persons too that confessed the Lord.
