We continued the work here in Patrauti de Sus. God was with us and gave us grace. This last month was pretty special because it gave us the opportunity to visit more people and talk to them. I would like to mention a few important events in Patrauti de Sus.

We had a wonderful New Year's. We had five more people added to our congregation from 16 to 21. We were all happy and blessed that the Lord answered our prayers.

We made resolutions for this new year concerning preaching the gospel and growing in our faith. We planned a few things related to construction work. We had a general meeting with the whole church and talked about the necessity of tithing to support the evangelism ministry. I was surprised and glad to see that they all agreed.

On January 6 we went caroling to the people that didn't know Jesus as their Savior, but still  celebrated Christmas. We gave them CDs, Christian DVDs and calendars. They are usually more reserved when it comes to receiving tracts and that is why we decided to give them CDs. We had a group of 10 people from Romania and also youth from Cernauti and Dranita.

People are usually receptive during the holidays. They invited us in and were grateful for the CDs we gave them. We visited 60 families and invited them to come to church the next day. Only two people showed up. Our guests from Romania sang carols and preached the Word. A woman and a girl have been attending our church ever since. It is a great joy for us.

We had a busy month as many guests came to visit us. On January 12 and 26 we had evangelistic services and six unsaved people came. Our friends from Romania that we've been in a partnership with helped us this time too.

We had guests from Arad on the 9th of January. They helped us with the ministry and then we went to a funeral in Ciudei.

I managed to visit the churches from Patrauti de Jos, Budinet, and Robcea. I was invited to a youth meeting in Patrauti de Jos on the 8th of January.

On the 23rd of the month, I was invited to preach at a funeral service in Patrauti de Jos.

I visited some of our church members and listened to their problems. We tried to find solutions together. I visited some people in the hospital as well.

My wife continued to give piano lessons in Pataruti de Jos. She has helped to start a choir group there.

I had two meetings with Christian brothers from our area and evaluated the ministry in 2010. We also planned activities for 2011. I got together with our brothers from Romania and we talked about the activities we could do together in 2011. They are going to help with the music ministry. I attended two Bible conferences this month on the 15th and the 22nd.
