April is the month of spring holidays. We celebrated the Day of the Good News on the 7th. After the church service, I spent the rest of the day sharing the gospel with the unsaved I met on my way such as friends, neighbors, and relatives. I faced the same question several times, "Christ or Mary?" I took advantage of this day because people say they're busy during the week.

We had an evangelistic event the first Sunday of the month. A group of believers from another church came along.

The mother of a Christian man from our church passed away that first Sunday of the month. She was a member of a different church but she lived close to ours and would often came to our church in the evening. She was coming home from church when she had a heart attack. Our church participated in the wake service. Many neighbors who would have never stepped into a Baptist church came.  We preached the gospel on this occasion.

I worked as an interpreter for a group of Romanian people who came to do mission work in an Ukrainian church in Cernauti.

We had several unbelievers come to church on Easter. We also had many children who came the day after Easter.

God answered our prayers for a young lady as she became a Christian two years ago. Her husband was baptized last summer. She let us know she wanted to be baptized too. We are going to start a Bible study with her. Praise the Lord!

Our youth leader is getting married in May. His future wife attends our church and she is trained to work with the deaf people. Pray for them.

I will participate in an evangelistic event in Kursk, Russia, next month over May 12-23. There will be people coming from Romania and Ukraine.  Pray that God will bless this event.
