The first event was the conference that Don Currin, Jim Elliff, Sorin P. and Daniel conducted. I personally benefited in different ways from this time. The fist benefit for my soul was the fellowship I had with the HeartCry ministers. We prayed together for each others needs. Another beneficial thing was the two-day conference. Praise the Lord for this kind of privilege. The messages we heard were most edifying for me.  Another blessing was their messages in the churches I pastor as it was powerful and challenging. I must confess that the sermons had also a prophetic message as God brought to light some bad and hidden sins of the people from the church.

Another thing that blessed us was the fact that brother Jim stayed at my place. That gave me the opportunity to get to know him better and learn several important things for myself and the ministry. Praise the Lord!

The ministry in the villages is going well even though nothing special has happened lately. Although that troubles me sometimes, God knows best and knows when to move things. I just pray I'll be found faithful in my job.

I would like to mention one thing that happened in Molodia. A man from this village died a short while ago (the end of December) and his family wanted to give him a Christian funeral service. His mother used to be a believer so this man grew up knowing what repentance meant, but he lived a sinful life. He was 57 when he died and next to his coffin there was his daughter and three of his former mistresses. The things that we preached concerning the gospel at his funeral was probably the best thing on the occasion of his death. There were about 35 unsaved people from the village that heard the gospel. Our message bothered some people there. Many of his friends who were drunkards were there too. Some of them were surprised to hear what we had to say. The respect we showed to the family had a good impact on them.

A family that used to come to our church wants to come back. I am happy I could be a witness in this respect as well.

We went caroling during the session of Jesus' birth. We managed to go to two villages, one of them was Puieni, the village where I planted the first church. The second one is Bicesti, a village with no Christian testimony. There are a few open people there so we took advantage of this opportunity to keep in touch. We haven't been able to plant a church there so far but I am praying about it and that God will save people from this village too.

We wanted to go caroling on the 25th in Pasat, but it rained heavily and ruined our plans

Something interesting happened this year. We had gone caroling three years in a row. We kept
doing that even though they did not have this tradition here. We insisted and taught the people here to open their homes when visiting them on Christmas Eve.  This year, the priest made up his own group and they went caroling in the village. It is amazing to see how things can change.
