The Lord allowed me to visit Terebleca village nine times where I preached four sermons and had five Bible studies from I Thessalonians. After the church services, I offered counsel to all who needed it. I counseled fifteen people, two of which were not Christians (they come to our church and are not far from the kingdom of God). I visited six families with whom I talked about God and prayed with them. I also visited some sick people. I told them about salvation through Jesus Christ. When I arrived, three other people were there and heard the good news for the first time. Two of them are school teachers. After sharing with them about the Lord, I urged the sick person to repent and to ask God to forgive her of her sins which she did. She was very sick with cancer. A few days later, she passed away. Her family had an Orthodox funeral service for her. I praise the Lord for being able to share the gospel with her. I pray for the ones who heard the gospel in her home to be saved too. The church members and I decided to approach a new way of reading and studying God's word. Each person has to read the specific Bible chapter and come up with questions if there's something they don't understand. When we finished a Bible book, we all have to take a test from that very book. We are very serious about it. If someone won't take the test, it means they don't read their Bible or feed their spirit. This initiative helped me understand a big problem of Christians. They don't make personal time to read and study the Word. Many of them are content just to hear the sermon in the church. This is the reason what God gave me this thought. If Christians don't feed their spirit with the Word, they're either sick or dead. I am sorry to say it, but I had to put three people from our church under discipline. They don't live their lives according to the Word and have a bad reputation. Other people from the village refuse to come to church because of them. I tried to reach them in various ways but only a few came to hear the gospel. One of the reasons is because of the lives of these so-called Christians. We recently started to emphasize the church's mission to evangelize just like the apostle Peter teaches us in his second epistle. God has given us everything we need for a godly life, therefore we have to do our part as well which is to make every effort to add to our goodness knowledge and so on. As a church, we took this principle very seriously and I pray that God will bring a revival first of all among the Christians and then over the entire village. We had a meeting with the church members this month where we talked about several matters such as the church building, generosity and systematic Bible study. I was glad to see that most people accepted this as coming from the Lord and started to change their lives in these areas. We spent two days working on the church building so we can have central heating in the building in the winter time. The Ministry in Cernauti I managed to visit a few other churches where I was invited to preach the gospel on different I had a Bible study and prayer meeting with missionaries and pastors. Afterwards, we planned the ministry for the following month. I spent the rest of the time with my family, in Bible study and work. Praise the Lord for this month. Thank you all for your spiritual and financial support, may God bless your efforts!
