I want to say that each month is different than the previous one in some aspects. A few things have changed here since last month. As I mentioned on a previous occasion, we no longer have the youth group the way it used to be. Almost all of them got married and have little children. Although they cannot travel to and sing in the churches in the area, most of them want to regroup as a worship team. I had several personal meetings with each of them and, after a 6 month break, they started to rehearse again.
The prayer and charity group started to visit the sick people from our church. We give special attention to our church members that come from non-Christian families. I do my best to attend every meeting of each group both as a member and as a pastor. I wish I could be just a simple member of a group but it seems that they all need me as a pastor, especially when it comes to organizing the ministries. We visited the church from Cozireani where we wanted to revive the faith of the people there.
The men's group meets together for prayer, strategy and studies for preachers on a regular basis.
This month we also started the puppet ministry again. My older sons are involved in that too. I don't really like autumn but it seems to be a season of spiritual refreshing for many people from our church. I take every opportunity to influence them in a positive way.
As I mentioned in the previous reports, there is much administrative stuff that I have to take care of. I consider this an opportunity to share the gospel with other people. Right now, there is an election campaign here when I had the opportunity to preach the Word to several people.
I visited the Romanian Baptist community from Kamenka twice this month. They have a great desire to hear the Word of God. Many people, youth and kids come on Tuesdays and Fridays.
