Praise the Lord for another month in His mission field!

The ministry in Tereblecia

I've been to this place 10 times this month. I preached 8 sermons and we studied the second chapter of Philippians. God gave me the opportunity to preach the Gospel on several occasions.  An 82-year old lady from our church passed away. She had a big family and most of them didn't know the Lord. More than 100 unbelievers came and heard the gospel. After the funeral, I shared the gospel personally with four people. One of them used to be my teacher in the elementary school. Back then she gave me a serious spanking because instead of greeting her with "hello", I said "God help". It was totally forbidden to say God's name out loud. But now, it was different. I could see God touching her heart. She seemed hungry to hear what I had to say about God. I encouraged her to call upon God's name to be saved. Praise the Lord for this miracle of turning a persecutor into a thirsty woman after His word.

I visited six families whom I talked about God's Word and prayed with them. After the church services, as usual, I counseled with 15 people.

We had some guests from Bucharest who helped us visit unbelievers from our village. They also worked with the children. We really need kid's ministers and pray that God will provide the right people. We used to have two young ladies who were in charge of that but they married and can no longer do this ministry.

God has blessed us with young families and there are more than 10 babies in our church.

At the end of the month we also had an engagement service. A young lady from our church is going to marry a young man from Herta (he is the only Christian in his family). They're getting married next month. It will be a good opportunity to preach the gospel again to the unsaved.

The ministry in Cernauti

God gave me the opportunity to preach the gospel to more than 500 people who came from 10 villages to a wedding.

I got to preach in Pasat once and in Grusevca twice. It was in Grusevca where brother Sandu D. and Mihai S. were elected by the church to work in Pasat

I had several meetings with different missionaries and pastors in order to pray and plan the ministry in Cernauti, Transcarpatia and Odesa.

I spent the rest of the time with my family or doing physical work.
