Unlike April, this month has been normal, but special. The preparations for the kids and youth summer camps, mission trips, work in the field, construction work and vacation planning provided us with many opportunities for ministry.
I personally met with potential ministers from other evangelical churches for these summer projects. We settled a date for the beginning of July. We've already started to work on the preparations and programs for the summer projects. On May 28-30, we're going to have a training program for the leaders working in different areas of the ministry in our county. Pray for that!
With the ladies from the prayer and charity group, I visited the church in the village of Dubovo. We attended an evangelistic service and were able to witness a young man give his life to Christ. We praise the Lord for that!
I visited the Romanian Baptist people from Kamenka three times. On May 24 I met with a family and spent around 2 hours talking. By the end of our conversation they declared themselves Baptists. Pray for them!
As I wrote in my previous reports, I want to go on a mission trip to the European part of Russia this year and to the Asian part (Siberian) next year. Please pray for me!
As a church, we have to elect a deacon leader/ pastor assistant. It is hard as it takes time and prayer with our potential candidate. Pray that God will make the election.
We continue to prepare a young family for baptism. They got to know the Lord last year in the fall. Please support this family in your prayers as they are dealing with pressure from their orthodox relatives.
