This month has been full of events. We spent the first week trying to connect with the people living close to the church. We invited them to come to the Easter church services and some of them actually showed up.
We also had many kids from non-Christian families who came to church to take part in the Easter program with the Christian kids. It hasn't been easy to organize the program as we don't have ministers who can work with them. Because of this I had to invest more of my time in these meetings.
I believe it was worth it because these kids take the good news about Jesus and the church to their families.
After the Easter holidays, we got involved in the field work. We took this opportunity to help many Christian and non-Christian families. Somebody from our church has some mechanical devices which helped others. When we help people with the field work we put the Word in action. Pray that these earthly works will bear spiritual fruit.
I've been to the village of Kamenka twice. The people there helped me give out 8 Moldovan Bibles (with Cyrillic letters). People find it easier to read them. We thank God we have them and there are people who are interested in receiving and reading them. Pray that God will open their eyes and hearts so that they can bear the fruit of repentance. My parents live in this village too. They're old and need my help more and more. That's why I go there more often. Sometimes I give rides to the hitchhikers and preach the gospel to them.
I was asked to go on a mission trip in Russia (to visit several places). I want to go at least for a month, but it's hard to find a good time. I would like to leave in the summer or the autumn. Please pray for that opportunity.
A young family, around 30 years old, is going to be baptized.
Pray that God will send us to the very people that are ready to accept Him.
