The Ministry in Tereblecia

I praise the Lord for another blessed month in ministry. I've been to this village eight times and preached four sermons. I've also led the Bible study four times as we studied Ephesians 4 and 5.
After the Bible studies I had counseling sessions with 15 people from the church and also with a lady who visited our church. We prayed for her and her two kids with two other people. She would like to come to our church but her husband and her family don't agree.  She asked God to forgive her of her sins as she trusted Christ as her Savior,

but she hasn't come back to our church since as her family wouldn't allow it. We are praying for her and her family and we ask you to remember them also.  Their names are Mariana and Viorel P.

With a deacon from our church, we visited four non-Christian families. We told them about the Lord, but I was shocked to see their attitude towards salvation. We talked to two or three people from each family. We met one person who was very sick and told him about salvation and the forgiveness of sins. When we asked him if we could pray for him, he started to shout and told us not to because it would be in vain. We insisted several times, but he wouldn't let us. Most of the people harden
their hearts even on their deathbed. They wouldn't repent because they say it's too late for them. Of course, there are a few exceptions as some people have asked us to visit them when they were on their death bed. There have been many people here in Tereblecia who asked me to come right before they died. Some trusted Christ and were given the opportunity to be baptized. But I understood one
thing, just like Isaiah, I am called to preach the gospel in season and out of season because it is
up to God to choose people to save them. I have to do my duty either way. Please pray for me in
this respect.

Usually, the first Sunday of the month, I make visits to the sick and the old and give them communion. We had guests from Romania who helped with an evangelistic event. We also visited with people from our village with whom we had the joy of preaching the Gospel to.

We had a youth meeting with people from Herta and Gliboca. Around 100 people attended the event. The guest speaker was someone from Arad, Romania. It was a blessed time as we sang, shared poems, testimonies, questions and answers from the Bible. After the sermon, many of the young people made decisions to live on a deeper level in their relationship with God.

We're gonna have a wedding in our church at the end of this month. It will be an unusual wedding as
both of them are in their seventies. They want to have God's blessing on what's left of their lives. It will be my second wedding service.

The Ministry in Cernauti

I visited the church and preached a sermon and then we had a time of fellowship with some young people. A couple of them invited me to preach at their wedding. I also visited Privorochia village and preached there twice at the funeral service of an older gentleman. Many people heard the Gospel.

Then I visited Pueni and Poleana and talked about putting up the prayer tent. I talked to the people who had sold us the land and to the neighbors. There was only one person who mocked us this time. She was from the Pentecostal church in Zisa. She was worst than the unbelievers in the way she treated us. Now, both the Orthodox and the Pentecostal people are against us. We keep praying as we go forth. We're still waiting to get the legal papers for the prayer tent. Please pray for the ministry in this village.

I also made a visit to Bahranesti village where I visited two families, the local missionaries and a Pentecostal family who had invited us to pray for them. The husband had some health problems and which motivated him to witches for healing. Now he wanted to confess all this to us. While we prayed, he confessed this sin to God and asked for forgiveness.

We get together with the missionaries on the first Saturday after the Lord's Supper in Cernauti. We pray together, share our experiences, strategize, study the Bible and pray for our needs.

I am going to preach at a funeral service in Gorbova.
