I am glad and feel honored to be able to share with you the way God has used us here in Ceranuti this month.

I want to start by sharing something that made us very happy. About ten years ago, a teenage girl from the village of Pasat became a Christian. She attended the church in Marsnita for awhile (Gheorghe Mihalco was the pastor there). When she turned 18, she was baptized. But not long after that, her faith got weaker and weaker. She quit coming to church for about 8 years. During this time God allowed difficult things in her life.

That made her understand once again that her life was meaningless without God. Two years ago she got back on the right track with God. God's plans and works are sometimes beyond our imagination and we may not always understand what He does. This could be the case of this woman too. There are things I cannot understand here, but I am happy to see how God works. When I started the ministry in Pasat, I was told about this young woman. We then decided to pray for her that God would bring her back to Him. It was a little difficult for that to happen because she was in a relationship with a man by whom she also had a child and lived in an extremely orthodox village. Years went by, and one Wednesday we had some guests coming to church. Among them was that young woman. Words cannot describe the joy we had, especially the ones who used to know her. They had the opportunity to rejoice over the answer to their prayers. It's been three weeks now but we still recall the amazing way God brought her back. With grief in her voice and soul she told us about her wandering from God. She was happy to be back in the church. Her testimony has been so welcomed by the people in the village. We keep praying and waiting to see God's working.

Regarding the work on the church building in Pasat, I've recently met with the people who support us and we decided to postpone the work until next year because we no longer had the money we needed. We hope to start working again next year so that we can have an adequate place to worship.
Since we have ceased working on the building, we decided to have more evangelistic campaigns
throughout the village. The first one will be on May, 5-6. We pray that God will give us strength and grace to tell the Word to the people that they would be saved.

I preached in two funeral services. Along with the Christian people, there were also unsaved people from the village. Usually, people listen carefully to the gospel under such circumstances. We made the most of it by telling them God's plan regarding mankind. Therefore, the funeral services turn into evangelistic ones. Around 20 unsaved people attended both of these funerals.

Last week Ii had a meeting with the ministers working in Herta and Hliboca counties. We talked about different problems we face and tried to find solutions together. We discussed the problem of the church in the village of Grusevca  Lately, they've been going through a difficult situation which potentially could close the church. Nobody has become a Christian there for a long time. A few families left to attend other churches. The youth went abroad to work. There are seven people left of whom five of them are in their sixties. This is the church in Grusevca right now. We all came to the conclusion that we had to help them. I was assigned to take the responsibility for this church for the rest of the year.

The church in Pasat is in good relations with the one on Grusevca because it was Grisa P., the pastor of that church, who first started the church in Pasat. I still work here with Misa, a church member in Grusevca. Therefore, we'll be working in both villages for the upcoming months. I hope to be useful in this new ministry and pray that God will show His glory and power through us that His name will be praised and exalted.
