I thank God for the grace He has given us this month to see people give their lives to Christ. It's been a few months since I invested time in the ministry of Stanesti. God has allowed us to see the fruit of our efforts as 6 people made the decision to follow Christ and two more later confessed they wanted to do it too but they didn't have the courage. This work happened after an evangelistic service we had in Stanesti.

The evangelistic event had been previously and thoroughly prepared for as I had challenged the people on many occasions to do their best. We had prayed for about a month for all the people we were going to invite. We also had fasting days for this event. Now, I can gladly say that God has touched the people from Stanesti one more time. The building was full to its capacity that day as we had many first time visitors. We have rarely seen so many people in the church. Praise the Lord!

We had another evangelistic event in Bahranesti. A church member from this village passed away and they asked me to come and preach on this occasion. I had the opportunity to preach twice before the funeral and then preached again the day of the funeral. Even though the weather was not that good, people came and heard the gospel. Brother Ion G. came as well. There were around 60-70 unbelievers and a few Jehovah Witnesses among them. The Gospel has been proclaimed once again and we look forward to God touching their hearts.

Another nice thing is related to the village of Pasat. Lately, we've been through a little difficult time when it came to telling others about Christ. All of this was because of the bad testimony of one of the church members. He was addicted to alcohol. In spite of everything, people with the same addiction asked us to help them. I am happy I was not the one who did it, but a family from our church. They talked to Colea and shared the gospel with him and he became interested. They also invited him over to their place and talked some more. It was good to hear that our church members, even though not that strong in their faith, understood they had to share Christ with others.

Somebody else from our church took care of an old friend of his when that man was left without a home or family because of alcohol. This person from our church offered shelter to the man and tried to teach him the Word of God. We used to take him to church on Sundays and during the week which he started to like. But he still had the drinking problem and therefore we decided to send him to a Christian center for alcoholics. Not long ago, the person in charge there, let us know that Volodea (that man) had repented of his sins and wanted to be baptized. We now hope and wait to see fruit in his life.

I've continued to work with the group of future preachers. There are three men in their thirties I get together with every week. I am helping them become preachers. We work together on sermons and I take them with me to preach in Pasat. They enjoy it and I find it useful. There is a great need of preachers that preach God's Word with power. Let's pray for this very thing. May God help us and bless us!
