The Lord gave us grace to work in the village of Patrauti de Sus one more month. God provided guidance and preparation for the ministry in this village. I would like to share with you the way God has used us this month.

We've had three evangelistic events this month. One of them took place in the building where we usually meet and the other one with the people from Pataruti de Jos.The first evangelistic event was on March 5. I had challenged the people from our church to bring along one unsaved friend. We had 8 unsaved who came to church that day for the first time. We had a praise and worship group from Cernauti and the guest speaker was the Romanian pastor, Marius M. Even though no one made a decision for Christ, the Word of God was proclaimed powerfully. A family from the neighboring village, Corcesti, came to the event.

At the end of the service I had the opportunity to talk to Traian. I asked him what he thought about what he had heard. He said he agreed with everything and he truly enjoyed it. When I asked him whether he wanted to make a decision for the Lord, he said he still had something holding him back but he promised he would read the Bible. He also asked us to pray for him. I visited one of the families and they were in a bad situation as both of them were alcoholics. They told me they had come to church just to get some money from us, but they didn't have the courage to ask. While I was talking to them, the wife told me she would come to church if I gave her a certain amount of money. It took quite a while to make her understand that people are not to come to church for money. Even though I told them that Jesus had come to give a solution to the soul problem, they just didn't seem to understand. I challenged the people from church to pray for them.

The second evangelistic event was on March 24. Brother Liviu C. from Romania was our guest speaker. We were surprised to hear that there was a village by the name of Patrauti in Romania. We had three visitors coming on this occasion, but sadly no one gave their lives to Christ.  We managed to get contact information from one person. We truly hope to see the day when God opens the hearts of the people here in Patrauti.

I want to share with you other events and activities that we had here. On March 28 I was invited to preach at a funeral in Patrauti de Jos. It was a young man who died of leukemia. Many people from Ptaratuti de Sus came (many people usually come to funerals). God gave me grace and I proclaimed the Gospel, urging the people to reconcile with God. On March 14 I attended the funeral of brother David R.

On March 10 we had a community meeting in Budinet. The pastors of seven Romanian churches appointed me as the ministry leader of our county. We hope we'll be able to work more on the unity of the churches so that we can support each other in what we do concerning evangelistic events, funerals, kids and youth ministry. We've already started a project to invite Romania pastors living by the boarding line. We want them to help our churches every two weeks, on Wednesdays. The pastors accepted our invitation and we've already been visited twice. We are going to have some partnerships between the Romania and the Ukrainian churches. I also asked them to come help us with the music ministry. On March 15 we had a conference for parents. The event was hosted by the people of Patrauti de Jos.

The ladies in our church decided to get together once a month for prayer and Bible study. Following the first meeting, they were all excited and encouraged. It is a time of fellowship when they can share their problems and anxities.
