The Ministry in the Village of Tereblecia

I've managed to visit this village eleven times this month. I worked on the central heating system of the church on three occasions and participated in eight church services. I preached the Word four times and continued the Bible study on 1 Corinthians 6-16.

As usual, at our Bible study meetings, every people reads three Bible verses from the chapter we are about to study. Then we analyze together what we read and I give an explanation of each verse. Afterwards, each person says the key verse of the chapter and then we pray according to the studied chapter. We pray that God would help us apply what we study in our daily life and tell others as well.

We had a wonderful experience with the neighbors of our church who are not Christians. They came and gave us a hand with the church building. As a result, they started to treat us with respect because we had previously treated them with respect. Whenever they had mocked us, we never responded in the same manner, but always with grace. Praise the Lord for this change in their life, we never ceased praying for their salvation.

We also had a meeting with the church members when we planned the winter holidays' evangelistic events and talked about church discipline.

I usually have counseling sessions after the church services, both with the people from our church and friends. I counseled 15 people and prayed with them this past month. I spent most of my time doing counseling, praying, reading the Scripture and preaching the Gospel which is the greatest need at the moment.

I made pastoral visits to six families, offered the Lord's supper to some of them and prayed with them. I visited three ladies in the hospital ten times. I brought them food, encouraged them from the Word and prayed for them.

The Ministry in Cernauti

With God's help, I visited the villages of Bahranesti and Forosna where I preached the Word. After the church services I spent time with the people from the church, talking to them and answering the questions they had. Then I visited a family where we had a good time of prayer and fellowship.

We also had the meeting with the pastors and missionaries in our area in order to plan the ministry here.
