We are getting closer to the end of the year. On this occasion, I want to wish everyone who reads these lines joy in your family and the peace the angels proclaimed when our Savior was born. God bless you! Besides the ministry in Pasat, I started to work in the village of Stanesti with a few young families. Our purpose is to strengthen the church and support the missionary work in the neighboring area. I get to meet them once a week. We are also made up a small group of ten people who are very involved in evangelism and church activities. We are all going to work together to prepare the holiday program. There are a few people in this group that I intend to work with in order to start the next mission. Some of them can sing and there are also two preachers. We are praying for God to reveal to us His plan for this mission. Last summer I talked to the missionaries who visited us. I told them I wanted to plant a new mission. I managed to identify three possible locations. First, I had two villages on my mind. But over the last couple of months God showed us a third possibility. There used to be something in these three village but the ministry was abandoned. There is not even one single Christian in the other two villages, but God has opened a few doors. We are now in the phase of building relationships with the four families that we want to start the ministry with.I want to share two things from last month. We had many expenses as the maintainence bills get considerably higher. We had to take care of that situation for three months in advance. The expenses for the ministry got three times higher due to an extended activity. We paid $100 for the maintainence expenses and in order to have our contract extended, we had two options. One was for us to pay $210 and the other was $150. We chose the second one. But we had to go to Romania. God intervened wonderfully as He sent somebody from Romania who provided transportation for us for only $12. I had everything done there within three hours. The second thing is just as special. I was on my way to church and I stopped at the gas station to refill. I asked to have $9 for fuel for that was the only money I had left until the follwing monthly support. At the station I met a Christian brother who paid for me to fill my car up with gas and gave me five extra dollars. The second day, I got 50 more dollars from a different family. These are only two examples of God intervening in our lives to meet our needs, but there were more. God certainly wants us to trust Him first. We know that sometimes we are not as faithful and thats why God will not manifest Himself through us.
