God's ministry in Tereblecia

By the Lord's grace I visited this church eight times where I delivered four sermons and four Bible studies on 1 Corinthians 1-6. During the Bible study each person read three verses from the studied chapter. Then we analyzed the text and I explained all the verses from that chapter. In the end we prayed to apply them to our lives and share with others what we had learned. I was glad that some friends of the church came to the Bible study meetings and wanted to read the Scripture. They had a lot of questions. We are praying for their salvation.
After the services I counselled different men and ladies from the church and friends. This month I counselled twelve people and prayed with them. I made five pastoral visits and administered the Lord's Supper to five of families. I preached the Gospel and prayed with them.

With the Lord's help we had a members gathering. I reproached those who hadn't come to the Bible study during the week. We also planned the church's activity for the following month. We continued the construction of the church, built a pair of stairs in front of the church, and installed the heating system. Each member financially supported the construction and the mission to Romanians in Ukraine.

At the end of the month we celebrated the Harvest Holiday. We rejoice and thank the Lord for all the blessings. We learned that our prayers should mostly be ones of gratitude than request. After the service we had a love feast with the church where we had a wonderful fellowship. This month we helped some people. It was an evangelism without words. Praise the Lord because some of our enemies became our friends. The priest's daughter is one of the neighbors of the church. She had been mocking us all the time. When I would greet her she didn't even answer for years. We helped her several times and her attitude changed. We continue to pray for her and for all the village that the Lord will bring revival to each house. We will continue this kind of evangelism through good deeds. I also talked to three people about the Lord and urged them to come to church. They promised they would come.

God's Ministry in Cernaut

I visited three churches this month and delivered three sermons in the church in Cernauti and two sermons at a wedding in Opriseni village. 500 people came to the wedding.  Most of them were non-believers.

Once a month we have a meeting with the missionaries. We share from the Word, give testimonies from the field, and pray. I had a meeting with all the pastors and missionaries from Cernauti area. I also had six meetings with different pastors and missionaries for planning ministry and prayer.

Our region is going through a swine flu epidemic. Please pray for us that the Lord will glorify his name through this situation too.
