I thank the Lord that I can continue the ministry in His church. This month was rather busy for me. August is a vacation and relaxation time for many people. This year for me was different. I had to keep in touch with the children because in July they had been in camp. The children were suppose to attend the regional meeting on August 29, but the meeting was postponed. It has been rescheduled for September 12. I have had many meetings with the teachers form the Sunday school and the Christian club. This club is for the children from non-Christian families and will start on the 13th of September (right after the regional meeting). This year it will be very difficult to accomplish because the volunteers have their own babies. They do not have much time to get involved. We have held all the organization meetings. We were able to plan a special schedule.
For a long time we prayed for the neighbors of the church. The Lord answered. Over the summer, and especially in August, some of the neighbors started to attend church. A few neighboring families came. I met them personally many times. Some of them came to church through their children, while others came because of their unsolved problems. One attended because of the Word. All of them have heard the Word now that has the power to change people. A man from the church turned to the Lord eleven years ago. He has prayed for his father ever since. Although his 97 year old father is almost blind and can't move anymore, his mind is still clear. This man from the church called me to present the Gospel to his father. After I had shared the Gospel, he repented and turned to the Lord. In all my ministry I havn't met anyone who had repented at this age. His son is so happy. Praise the Lord! We visited the sick people and the old ones from our church. We also prepare for the members gathering on the 13th of September. I continued the ministry in Kamenka village too. The Romanians group need to be visited more often and regularly. This month I visited them twice and I preached the Word.
