Greetings! I thank the Lord for the victory that he gave over sin and death. I want to begin by rejoicing over the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  I want to share with you the things that happened on the mission field in Patrauti de Sus. Although I had hoped to spend more time with the villagers this month, they were too busy preparing for the holidays. God opened some doors and enabled me to share the Word. I spoke with several young people on the streets. We talked about Jesus' Resurrection and the significance of this holiday as it relates to Christianity. A few of them didn't know what Christ's Resurrection meant. I invited them to church. They refused to come because they were afraid of the priest. He said in the church that whoever attended the evangelicals' meetings would not have communion before Easter. Some people promised me they would come after Easter. Another door that the Lord opened was related to the construction of the church. Because of the economic crisis many people lost their jobs. As they were wandering through the village looking for a job many of them asked us if we needed help. We hired a few of them and had the opportunity to share the Gospel with them. They listened to us and one of them came to church on Easter. Along with Ion G. we organized an evangelistic outreach on April 24. We invited a preacher from Romania and a family of singers, the Goia's. We invited many people to this outreach. Although only six nonbelievers came, some of them came for the first time. In my last report I wrote you about a poor family with four children. Their mother and grandfather came to this evangelistic meeting. We continue to visit and help them. I went to see them after the outreach and to my amazement they were all very spiritually needy. Seeing their need for a transformed life we continue to pray for them. I keep in touch with friends that visit the church. I try to explain to them the need for repentance. One of these people, Elena, is about to give herself to the Lord. She has an open heart. When she has the time she comes and cleans out the courtyard of the house where we gather. Her husband helps us with the construction of the church. He is addicted to alcohol. We pray that the Lord will deliver him. On April 11, I went to a meeting with the HeartCry missionaries and those from Neemia. We shared our ministries followed by a study and prayer time. On April 21 we met with the missionaries from Storojnet. We discussed our needs and prayed together. These are some of the most important events that occurred in Patrauti de Sus. I want to thank you for your support.
