It is so good when the children of Christ get together. We had such a great joy to be visited by brother Sorin. The time we spent together encouraged us. We worked on the strategy of the ministry together and rejoiced to see God working in this part of the world. The greatest disadvantage of this visit was that he couldn't spend more time with us. I hope he'll be able to stay a little longer next time he comes back.

The most important thing last month was the beginning of the church plant in Smederevo. We had been praying for this place for years as no evangelical church is here. We received 50,000 tracts. My children and I made up two teams and handed out 2,300 of them. It's been a wonderful experience as we saw some people take a tract and read it. We prayed right on the spot for them. The second team met some ladies who had questions. They prayed for them too. My children had great joy in doing that and I felt revived. There is already a group of people. but we are currently looking for a location to rent. Lord willing, we are going to hand out 5,000 more tracts next week. The next step will be to visit the people who are interested in hearing more about God. We look forward to that.

I also want to have a three-day evangelistic event in the afternoon in Smederevo and in the morning in Kovin. The following themes that will be approached will be homosexuality, abortion and the Christian family in the light of the Bible. Please pray for this event.

Other people have previously tried to plant a church in Smederevo, but they gave up. There's no evangelical church here and the town is possessed by evil. There is a Jehovah Witness church. After two years of praying, I made the decision to plant a Baptist church here. I knew we would face opposition, but not as strong as we have experienced. Satan is continually trying to attack me in various ways. Therefore, please pray for my family. Pray that God will help us to complete what we have started. Pray that God will give me strength for victory! Also, pray that He'll touch the hearts of many people in Smederevo and give them salvation.
