Last month, my family, Christ's church, the mission in Kovin and in the entire country brought me many joys. But I also eperienced trials. On the second Sunday the people from Resita village church visited us and brought us great joy. Brother Nicu A. shared a message from the Scripture that edified the entire congregation. The sermon had an evangelistic part for those who didn't know the Lord. May the Lord bless the sacrifice of the Resita Church people. Our family was visited by pastor Aca and his family from Belgrade. They came to see our baby. It was a special fellowship. We prayed and sang together for the glory of God. I had a special fellowship with Andrei, pastor Aca's son. He is 23 and wants to be baptized. He was upset because he doesn't have a shocking testimony as others have because he grew up in a Christian family. I explained to him many things that related to repentance and baptism. We prayed together and scheduled a day for fasting and prayer for this issue. He will call me in a few days. I will continue to pray for him. On the fourth Sunday of the month we organized an evangelistic outreach in our church. We used God's blessing through the coming of the third pastor from Emanuel Church in Timisoara village. He was accompanied by a group of young people who praised the Lord through songs. It was a wonderful event and our Saviour was praised. We all have been strengthened. His grace is great! On September 28 a commission of the seminary from Oradea village visited us. The commission was led by brother Dan M. The Bible School in our church finished the first year. We talked about the second year and decided to hold the classes in a more central location. The students will not have to travel so far and therefore the expenses will not be as much. There is an interdenominational Bible school next to the capital. There are good conditions for our Bible School and their students want to attend our classes too. Therefore the Bible school will be transferred there for the second year. The Lord blessed our ministry in the church. Three souls gave their lives to the Lord and on November 1 we will have a baptismal service. We are rejoicing because two of them are a mother and daughter. The daughter is a student. The Word of God worked in her heart and she made the greatest decision of her life: to follow the Lord! I had several meetings with them and continue to teach them the basic doctrines. Everybody from the church is happy. The ladies already share in the responsibilities. Who will bake and what cookies? Praise the Lord for this blessing. We forgot all the mockery, the trials, the persecution and we rejoice over His grace. On October 6 and 7 I was on the commission who met with a group of pastors from the south of our country and a group from Romania. The purpose was to open a Bible school with the help of the seminary from Bucharest in Akelas village. The seminary from Oradea village already does this thing in the north of our country. We hope the Lord will bless this desire for His glory. I also met with missionaries from the north of our country. They were sent by the union in the south because there is a need of ministers and theological education there. I pray that the Lord will send ministers on His field. Please pray for my country that is far away from God.
