I would like to share with you the way God worked in Serbia last month. I can say that we had many blessings including tribulation that the Lord had promised.

On May 16th with God's help we continued the Bible School. This time we organized also a meeting for the missionaries' wives. The speakers were several ladies from Romania. The subject was: The Behavior of the Ladies in Church. This meeting was so effective that the ladies requested other meetings too. In our country there is an organization of ladies from the church. But it doesn't have sound teaching, it is mostly feminist that desire to run the church. The sisters from Romania were a real blessing for our ladies. The ladies gathered in the hall of the church where the men usually gather for the Bible School. So we had to find another place. For a month I looked for another hall to rent it. No one wanted to rent us a hall because we are accused of being a cult. Therefore I had to organize the men's meeting in the church in Pancevo, 35 kilometers away. We wasted time on the road. On the underground floor of the church we have a 50 meter conference hall, but there isn't electricity.  Please pray for chairs for this hall. I thank God that I found a spring about 10 kilometers away that will provide drinking water for the school.

On May 17th, brother Sorin P. brought Brother Charles L., Ryan F. and Lance. For many years we prayed for brother Charles to come to Serbia. His sermon strengthened the men. This visit was a great encouragement for us. May the Lord bless brother Charles and give him a long life of ministry.

On May 31 our church was blessed by the visit of a deacon from Deta village, Romania. This man was a policeman and organized an evangelism by using his testimony. The people from the church and other friends wondered how a policeman could be a Christian. Praise the Lord.

On June 5-6 we had two days of Bible School in our church. There were over 40 pastors, deacons, and missionaries. Everybody testified that spending time in the Word of God was a necessity for strengthening the ministry. We had a time for questions during the last session. The teachers gave answers for the practical problems that the men were facing in their ministries. All of them stayed in a motel in town. We had limited financial resources and I found it very hard. Professor Mladin O. had to leave a day before the Bible School ended. He had to go in Hungary. But with all those difficulties the Lord sent brother Sergo from Hateg who covered for brother O______. He came on his own expense. Regarding the Bible School, we faced opposition from a pastor in the Belgrade church because of jealousy. But God saved us because the School is approved by the Baptist Union. The man who promised to cover the costs came with only $130 which was insufficient. Therefore I had to borrow money from another brother to pay the costs. These two days were the last session of the 2008-2009 school year. They now have vacation on the battlefield of the world. Please pray for the this school that has the responsibility of teaching missionaries from Serbia. Please pray that the Lord will send us teachers with sound doctrine and take care of the financial needs of this ministry.

On June 7 I was called by the Baptist Church No. 2 from Belgrade to help them in an evangelism project. I preached and my girls took care of the worship time. It was a blessed afternoon and many people heard the Gospel.

Through brother Sorin P. I received $300 for Bibles and song books that I bought from brother Simo R. Thank you. May God multiply your grace.
