Through visits and Gallup polls I contacted over 200 people presenting the Gospel to them. In the Gallup polls I used the question, "Do you really believe that the Lord Jesus revived?". Some people just answered that they believed and then they left. Others stopped and talked to me. A few said that only God knew whether the Lord Jesus was raised from the dead or not. Still God blessed our efforts as we had 15 souls come to church.

On April 18th we had an evangelistic outreach in the church. It was the day of the Lord Jesus' crucifixion. At this event over 150 people came and 70 of them didn't know the Lord. We had a band from Lacornetu (Vrancea county) that served the Lord with songs. The Word of God was preached by the pastor of "Maranata" church in Vrancea, Virgil P. The text was from John 3:14 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up..." God gave victory and six souls came forward to receive the Lord Jesus. It was a great joy for our church and myself.

In Alexandria during an evangelistic meeting a man, Sandu V., received Lord Jesus. Since then he has come to church. He is 48.

On April 26th a special service took place in our church. I was ordained as a pastor by the Ordination Commission from the Baptist Community. Three men were in the commission: Lucian O., Vice President of the Baptist Community, Trasca V., pastor of the church in Rosiori and Mosie M., pastor of the "O Del Si Amenca" church. A band from Padureni led in songs. May God be glorified in all the things.
