Since returning from England I have been very busy. I came on my own as my husband had to finish his work in England and other items.
On my return I was reminded that there is a great need for work here with the people. This was brought home to me by a story I heard about a very unfortunate man. He was a 62 year old who collapsed in his garden and was taken to hospital where they discovered that he had not eaten for at least 4 days. Due to complications this man sadly died and is yet another reminder to me that we live in a fallen world and that our older people are in such need of help and above all, need salvation in Christ. Recently I visited a widow woman in her late fourties who has many difficulties in her life. I sat down and spoke with this lady and I could not believe the multitude of problems that she has. We spoke about the Lord Jesus and before I left I gave this woman a hug and it was like the first time that she had ever received any loving affection for many years as her late husband was a violent man. I also left this woman some Christian literature and some food as she has very little. On my next visit I will bring her another message of hope and some bed linen with some clothes. This lady is one of many people I have met with such needs and I am doing my best to help as many as possible. The children groups are going very well. But sometimes the message can be difficult to get through to them and it can be a fight at times to get their attention. But when you build a relationship of trust I find it easier to reach their hearts with the message of Christ. I have now also renewed my women's group and it is good to see and hear that they have retained much of what we have learned together. You may recall that two of the young woman were unable to get along, but thank God there has since been an understanding between them and they are now back on speaking terms. God really does answer prayers! I am optimistic about the future developments in Christ for the women and children groups although I realize there is much work ahead. There has been a recent major development as to the opportunity of requiring a minibus for the extension of the children's group work. The bus is in Germany and we are hoping to have it brought over to Draganesti sometime in March. Once again, please pray that we
