This month God blessed us with a new brother in Christ whose name is Emi. He is 25 years old. We are grateful for his salvation. Emi grew up in a family of believers, but for 10 years he did not attend the church. After several experiences and inner struggles he decided to come to our church. He came during the week when we had bible study. He joined us. At the end he told us the way God put the desire into his heart to turn to Him. Emi was like a prodigal son. There still was grace for him. The entire church welcomed him. The next Sunday I invited him home. I shared Christ with Him and he gave his life to Jesus. At the worship service in the afternoon he confessed his faith toward the Lord and the desire to follow Him his entire life. After this he started to share the Gospel with his brothers. And one of his brothers repented and started to come to church. May the Lord hold Emi and Daniel in His hand! Regarding the family that I mentioned in the last report I am glad to say that their son always attends the children's program. He also attends the mandolin meeting. He brought a cousin of his to the children program. Another family that we visited started to allow their children to attend the program. Diana, the older sister attends also the orchestra meeting. Therefore, now besides the children program we have also a permanent group who learn to play mandolin. And we have those who play in the orchestra for almost two years. We continue to meet with Florin and Cerasela. They do not attend the church. Why are we still visiting them? Because we always discuss biblical topics. They still have interest in the Bible. But it seems that they are authentic "Greeks" who have more questions then we anticipated. "How hard is it" for them to give themselves to the Lord! May God (who knows our love for this family) have compassion for us and give us the joy of "reaping" them for the Lamb's Kingdom. Besides the daily opportunities which God offered me to share the Gospel or "the hope that is in me", I spent more time with the organization of teo events for the "Woman's Day". The events took place in the beginning of March. One of the events was with the students from the campus in Targoviste (approximately 20 kilometers). The Lord answered our desire and brought over 30 non-Christian students to this event where the Gospel was proclaimed. The Lord brought also the necessary coworkers for this ministry. The students showed hunger for solid relations. They had the opportunity to know God's love through us. We ate together and we tried to make an event so their prejudgments would fall. At the end they gave us their addresses. We will contact them as soon as possible. I wish this flock without a shepherd will come to Jesus through the compassion of His servants here in Dambovita county. How big is the field! I do not know why the Lord put the desire into my heart to organize this event. Maybe because many of the students are Moldovans, as myself. But one of the reason is surely His love towards these students who did not hear the Gospel before. The other event was an evangelistic evening in Pucioasa village. How much I enjoyed working with the church on this project! We were a real team. (Occasionally the Lord gives me satisfaction. How much I love His people!) There were over 100 persons at this event. Approximately 70% were non-Christians. Because the hall of the church was so small we rented a restaurant. The Lord gave us favor with the caterer. I had the opportunity to share with him the Gospel and our ministry in the village. When he understood that, he did a cost reduction for us. But I was glad because he was challenged with the necessity of having a relationship with Jesus. I found out that he wanted to be a priest. At this evangelistic outreach the Lord had a proper word for everybody. The guest gave his personal testimony, but also shared some of the wonders which the Lord did in his life (I am glad this testimony was heard in Pucioasa). The songs also created a meditative condition. Everybody understood that God was offering them a gift. The subject was special relations. The gift which we presented was the special relationship with Jesus. We now have opportunities to visit them. We want to offer them a DVD with the recorder of the event and Bibles with illustrations for children. The guests' impressions encouraged us and we could say God received all the glory.
