We had the Alphabet Program three times a week. There were around 10 children. We had Alphabet classes and school educational program. We also conducted computer classes. I visited the parents of some children that attended the church during the program and shared the Gospel with them. The grandmother of one of the children started to attend the church.
The youth from Frunzanesti are very connected with evil. I asked myself why they were not coming to church and truly repenting. I talked to many of them and they gave themselves to the Lord. I believe that they do not come to church because they are afraid of the gangs. If they come to church the gangs will harrass them. The fear that gangs produce greatly affects them. I made three pastoral visits and thirty evangelistic visits. Two new people came to church. A lady who is 35 started coming to church almost two months ago and another a month ago. This month a gang from the village where I had lived before attacked my wife's relatives. It was a great war. The police took force. I thank the Lord that nobody died and for now the conflict which lasted for fifteen days has subsided. I met a man named Sandu. I greeted him and told him who I was. He answered that he was orthodox. I asked him why he was smoking if he was a Christian. He said that he really wanted to give up smoking, but he couldn't. He invited me into his courtyard where we talked about God for almost two hours. I explained to him that religion does not save people, but faith and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. After a while his daughter-in-law and two other people came. After sharing the Gospel with them, they received the Lord. But when I invited them to church they said that they couldn't come. They were afraid of the community gang. To attend church they must pass by the gang. I told them that I would visit them again. We hope to find a solution to this problem soon.
