God gave us grace to continue the preaching ministry in Fieni this month.

I will be involved in three major evangelistic projects this year. The first event is a local one, in Fieni and the other twelve neighboring villages. Brother Mraian Bicajan and I will do outreach at least twice a week. We will talk to the people in Fieni one day and go to a village the other day. Our purpose is to preach the Gospel verbally to the people we meet on the streets. In order for our testimony to have more impact, we also will leave the people with several evangelistic materials. Many people get in touch with God's word this way. We have also edited a brochure with information about our church so people can contact us.

We have had different experiences when doing outreach. Some people are willing to talk, others are aggressive and are offended. But the general impression is that of indifference when it comes to the salvation of the soul. We would be happy to see the people more interested in God.  The thought that gives us comfort is that the season for this area right now is that of sowing the seed with tears. We hope to be able to see the joyful harvest time.

The second project is the one with the other HeartCry missionaries. We had the first evangelistic campaign in Fieni in April. We'll have two more in June, one in Pucioasa (June 7-8) and Buzau (June 27-28). This evangelistic campaigns have proved to be very efficient not only as a means of spreading the gospel but also as a fellowship time for the missionaries. We get to talk about the joy and trials we face.

The third project is the one with the HeartCry Gypsy missionaries. We should have started the evangelistic campaign in May but it is likely we will start in June.

I spent some time in the pastoral ministry in Fieni. I visited several people from our church, especially the ones who are having problems. I offered them my support and counsel according to the Bible.

We had such joy when one of our church members that had been expelled from church because of a rebellious attitude, came back to church in repentance and humbleness. We are happy to see that grieving has led him to repent.

I also spent time with believers who visited our church and were going through trials. I encouraged them to stay faithful in the midst of persecution.

We still have some things to do to the church building so we are getting ready to start working again.

Praise the Lord for the privilege to work in His mission field!
