Eastern Europe: Reports - Romania - Reports

I am honored to greet you, who are so faithful in praying and supporting us in a consistent way for so long now. I must confess that I feel at times overwhelmed with how wonderful the Lord provided for us to be able to fulfill the calling of God to work for His kingdom. We are grateful for being part of our calling and pray that the Lord will multiply the blessings in your lives.

Each month I rejoice over many experiences that I directly experience with the Lord, and also with those who are on the field whom I am called to oversee. The HeartCry missionaries report good advance in their field of ministry. We praise God for the freedom of preaching the Gospel. We feel that this time is so valuable. The world moves in a wrong direction and we anticipate times of restrictions. The European Union pushes a secular agenda and the governments in almost every country go pretty much against God's principles. Please pray that we will not waste the time and use every opportunity to preach God's Word.

Our church in Brasov is preparing for some major evangelistic events. We have a team of dentists that will work for one week with our church. We anticipate a good time of sharing the Gospel to a large number of people. Two years ago in a similar project we had one student commit his life to Christ. So we have see fruit from such a ministry. Actually, preaching the Gospel is the most valuable thing. Pray for this project. We also will have another team that will come to do street evangelism along with our team and believers from our church. We value the street evangelism because it is in this environment where we meet people, know their beliefs and give them the Gospel. We would appreciate your prayers for this evangelistic campaign.

My wife, Trisha, is very close in giving birth to our first child, David Amiel. We are in the States now and ready to welcome our son into our family. Most of this month I was in Lynchburg, VA, where I used the time to continue some major projects that I started. One is the translation of the HeartCry website into the Romanian language. The second is the building of a website in the Romanian language for the ministry in Eastern Europe, while the third is to continue to write a commentary on Ephesians. My forth project is to visit churches that I can share about the ministry and preach God's Word. I am very grateful for what the Lord shows me as I study and write the commentary on Ephesians. It is just a delight to go deep into the mysteries of God that were revealed to us so we can proclaim them to His people.

While being so close to the HeartCry office, I have had the opportunity of meeting Bro. Paul Washer and the HeartCry staff. We discussed more things concerning the ministry and made plans for the future. By God's grace we will support one more missionary who will work in the area of Brasov.

Continue to pray for us, for our baby, David, and for the ministry of God's Kingdom in Eastern Europe.
