March has been a month when God blessed us with many opportunities to invest our time in people who did not know Him. We had four evangelistic events the first part of the month. They all took much our energy, but we had great joy in return. I am going to share briefly about the events here. We had two events in Pucioasa and two in Varfuri.

VARFURI

We invited the parents of the children from Varfuri to come to the town hall (this is where we get together every Saturday). We had around fifteen mothers. Some of them were with us for the first time and heard the gospel. We had an evangelistic message. The kids had also prepared something special for their mothers. We could see some of the parents being truly interested in the Word of God on this occasion.

Their impressions were positive as some of the mothers told us how happy they were to see we had been working with their children. Not only do we have their support, but they have started to seek spiritual things themselves. Before this event we had several beneficial evangelistic visits and I would like to share a little about that. When we went to invite the parents to these events, we also shared with them the purpose of our ministry. We could see Gheorghe and Adriana family showing interest in spiritual matters. Vasile and Camelia also opened their house and we preached the gospel there.

Another family that we visited was Vali and Monica. After our first visit, Vali quit smoking. Monica has been reading the Bible and is more and more interested in a change in their family. We have a tremendous desire for these families to come to Him. Irina's family had some problems and we prayed for them. God worked in the matter and provided a good opportunity to share Christ with them.

Another event in Varfuri took place at the school. The occasion was Mother's Day. The kids we work with sang several Christian songs and we had an evangelistic message for the parents and the teachers. We also had the opportunity to offer a Bible for children as a prize to the ones who were part of the project "Andy, the Lion Cub", a Christian project for kids. This school is situated in a different part of the village. Therefore, several adults could hear the gospel. Otherwise, it would be hard to reach them. We took this as an open door from the Lord.

PUCIOASA

We had two events in Pucioasa. We had a meeting with non Christian families (friends and relatives). It took place in a restaurant hall. We had pizza together and preached the gospel to around 60 people. Some of them were there for the first time and were challenged to ask themselves some questions about their soul. One of the people who was there was a kindergarten teacher and she invited us to come and work with the kids. Praise the Lord!

The second event here took place at the Cultural Center hall. We had another good opportunity to preach the gospel. The shocking personal testimony of a Christian singer and the Bible message touched the hearts of several people. We were happy to hear the responses of the people. We simply saw God working. Once again, one of the school principals from Puciaosa was there and she thanked us for the event. The manager of the Cultural Center building asked us to so something similar for the high school students on Easter. I think this is from the Lord. I am expecting God to raise a greater interest and I want to see the Christian testimony spreading out more and more. The follow up visitations were pretty good and encouraging.

Another joy in our church was Adina's testimony. She started to come to church a short while ago and experienced the Lord in a special way. God drew close to her and woke her up one morning when she gave her life to Christ.
