Florin and I visited a student named Claudiu. He wrote on the questionnaire that he was no longer sure he believed in Christian values. When I asked him why, he said it was because of the group pressure. His answer was, "I quit praying, going to church and had many failed exams. Then, all of the sudden, I started to seek God again. I started to pray again and I passed all the exams but one." When I asked him if he knew God personally, he replied, "no I don't. I think He can hear me but I don't know Him".  I started to share the gospel with him, about sin and Christ's sacrifice on the cross.  Then Florin shared his own testimony with him. At the end, Claudiu said, "I am no longer confused, everything is clear to me."  We are going to visit him again.

Madalin is a freshman in college. I took my son David and another student, Emi, and went to visit him. When we got there, Madalin told us, "I have partially read the Bible, but I won't repent, I just want to have fun. I cannot give up my friends. I asked him what he meant by fun. He said, smoking, alcohol, and women. He said he just couldn't quit all these. I asked him what would happen to him if he died that night. He said, "I know Id go straight to hell. But I can't give up my friends group".

Diana and Gabi are a family. Gabi is a student at Construction College. We were getting ready to visit and share the gospel with them one night when our youngest son started to scream as he had never done before.  When we made it to Gabi and Diana's, we could feel a great struggle among them. I shared the gospel with both of them. Diana wanted to be baptized, but in my heart I felt she really didn't know the Lord. It's been a short while since they started to attend our church, they both made a profession of faith.

We had an outreach in Targoviste. Around 20 students heard the gospel. Marius became a Christian last year. It was Narcis who first shared with him. Sorin is Marius' colleague. Mariushad shared the gospel with him. When I went there, I spent some time with Sorin and gave him more details about the way of the Lord. He didn't have the assurance of salvation. He started to go to church. But there are many Orthodox Theology students living in his dorm. They put a lot of pressure on him, telling him that he had become a part of a sect referring to us.

The students started their examination time. So I spent more time studying the Bible, doing discipleship with my children, the students and some families. I also preached the Word at our new church, along with Sorin and Bebe.

Viorel is one of my disciples and a student as well. He had a time when he felt pretty down spiritually. He actually became a student last year in October. He felt guilty and ashamed of his sins.  We decided to study Roman 7 and 8 together and I could feel the Spirit of the Lord lifting him up. I was strengthened and revived.

Ovidiu is another Christian student that I work with. All his roommates are non-Christians. Many times they mock him and throw parties in the room. Ovidiu and I studied a little about David's life. David continued to be submissive and humble in spite of king Saul's moods. I could even say David allowed Saul to do everything he liked. Jonathan, David's friend, interceded for him but it didn't help a lot as the persecution still continued. It was because God wanted to break David. Ovidiu understood that. We prayed together and then went to the church together.

We continued to get together with the missionaries and students and pray together. God is continually working in our hearts when it comes to walking on the narrow way so we will not be relevant to this world. There is this tendency to bring unbelievers to faith by any means. We decided to no longer pursue numbers but the Truth. It's been a few years since I started to have this struggle in my heart regarding the ways to bring students to Christ.  We decided to lead them through Christian hymns and Bible passages. There's a revival in our lives as missionaries and in my family as well.
