We continued to serve the Lord in April mostly through relations. It was the last month of the year that we focused on relationship evangelism. We'll go out on the streets next month at least twice a week.

We tried to spend more time with other parents in the park. God blessed us to make some nice friendships with some of them. The difficult thing is that they are not ready to take the next step in coming to church. We were a little discouraged by that. Other people we had visited started to back off a little.

We continue to get together with the kids every Saturday.  We had such joy when one of the girls became more receptive. She visited us every week and asked many questions about teen life. We were really happy when she said she wanted to be like Simona. Pray that Lavinia will know the Lord personally and follow Jesus.

Another boy, Radu, started to be more and more interested in knowing more about God. We want to take these children to a Christian summer camp. Most of them are from poor and dysfunctional families so we will have to find sponsors for them. Pray that this need won't be an obstacle for us in this ministry.

Several young people who used to come to our church quit coming. Pray for us to have wisdom in counseling them. It is painful to see how hard young people turn to Christ and then give Him up. We trust in Him because He knows His own.

At the end of the month we had a  two day evangelistic campaign on the streets. Other HeartCry missionaries and us handed out brochures to every house in Pietrosita (a pretty large village), Costesti and other neighboring villages around Fieni. Whenever people were available, we shared with them. We want all the people to be able to hear the good news so they'll have the opportunity to learn about Christ. There are still other villages we have to reach with the gospel. Lord willing, we will finish this project by the end of this year.
