We are happy to be able to write again and share with you what the Lord has done in our lives and in the lives of the people we work with. Thank you for being there for us in this ministry to preach the gospel and make disciples.

Sorin, Trisha, and us went to Zalau. I wanted to visit a family I had met several years before. It was also a good opportunity to serve in the local church there. I preached a message called "Christians, Beware of your Hearts!" Whenever I go on a mission, I pray that God would make me careful and thoughtful with the people I get in touch with. I also pray that God will show me the way He works. That morning in Zalau, I left to church with the son of my friends. He was the same age as our son Flavius. On our way there I talked and shared several things with him. When we passed the Orthodox Church, we saw a woman there begging. She was not an old woman and she seemed strong enough to earn her living. We stopped and shared the gospel with her. She was pretty open and seemed sincere. But we got interrupted by a police patrol that thought she had harassed us to give her money. We told them that we were talking and they left.

We eventually made it to the Baptist church in Zalau. When we got there we noticed that the people were facing real problems. Several years ago a sort of movement emphasizing miraculous healings and speaking in tongues started there and it caused people from the church to be scattered in several directions. We could still see the consequences of this movement in Zalau. The pastor where I preached was affected as he felt lonely and discouraged. I know God is in control of these things, but I felt urged to pray for them and to make a decision to abide in the truth of the Bible even though it may not be so sensational.

PROVIDENCE CHURCH

Providence Church is the youngest church in Brasov. We have also started to meet on Sunday evenings. I can say that both Ani and I started to love these fellowship meetings in particular. It is our time to seek the Lord and hear His Word. The Lord has been good and we haven't had any problems with the neighbors so far. Sorin dropped by their place and told them about the Sunday evening meetings. Praise the Lord! They seemed not to be very disturbed by the noise. They have children themselves and they're even louder. Pray for them. They are people who don't seem to be interested in spiritual matters. Their excuse was "we work too much and we don't have much time left".

There is a lady whose name I don't want to mention yet that we met several years ago. We used to be friends with her and her husband. They have a 18-year old daughter now. This couple is going through a major crisis. They got separated because the husband had an affair with an employee. He no longer wants to be with his wife. Please pray for them. She is at peace and wants to obey the Lord. She doesn't want to get divorced and prays for her husband to come back home changed by the Holy Spirit. She needs prayer support. We should pray that God will heal this family. Both this lady and her daughter came to our church and we were happy to see them.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

February is mainly a month of tests and examination for students. The second part of the month is their vacation between semesters. The second semester begins in March. We got together and had a prayer time to make intercession for the students ministry. We made the decision to be consistent in evangelization. We also want to help other people who have recently become Christians. They all have their struggles. Whenever a student makes the decision to follow Christ, he starts to face challenges, either family related or friends related. Sometimes the evil attacks are so strong they get discouraged. Please pray for Elisei, Beni, Octavianm Viorel, Florin, Alexandra, Stefan, Ana Maria, Mariana and Mihai. We want to have weekly meetings with them when we can pray and do Bible study. We are also going to have two Bible conferences organized by HeartCry.
