This month God revealed to me more of His saving power. He showed me that He has His ways to glorify His name when people get saved.

I want to share with you an extraordinary experience that I had this month. Mavrodin is a village that is 25 kilometers away from Rosiori. It has around 5000 inhabitants, out of which 150 families are Gypsy. That means around 800-1000 Gypsies live there. We had tried to share the gospel several times there before but with no success. When God appointed His time for this village, He opened a door showing His power and love for people. Sorin is a 20-year old man who lives there. One night he got very sick which we found was the product of demon possession. Later on he told us how four evil spirits would come to him every night for two weeks. And they would torment him from 9 p.m. until 3 am. No one could see them, but him. His parents took him to hospitals to see different doctors, to monasteries and even to witches, but they could not do anything. They eventually got in touch with us through a relative. It was God who directed them. When I got the call from them, I knew that God was going to open a door we had long been waiting for. It was time for the ministry in Mavrodin to begin. I got to their place at 10:30 p.m. I brought 5 more Christian brothers and a lady with me. That young man had been already tormented for an hour and a half.  Although it was cold, many people were there. They watched this young man being terribly tormented and there was nothing they could do. When we opened the door, I saw something I had never seen before in my life. This young man was simply roaring, hitting his head against the walls and tossing in bed. It was obvious he was living in pain and seemed to be continually looking for a way out. His rescue came through the presence of God.  We all spent 3 hours in prayer, read from the Bible and sang songs of worship. Before leaving, we closed with a prayer. Sorin started to become conscious and his look no longer seemed lost. He actually came to his senses after we left. That had a great impact on the family and their friends.  Sorin is no longer possessed by the devil as he was saved because he trusted in Christ. Both his parents and four other of his friends received Christ as their Savior. Now there are seven people who have chosen to follow Christ in Mavrodin.

An evangelistic team and I go to this village every Wednesday and take advantage of the door God has opened for us. Please pray for this new ministry.
