On October 5-6, we organized the last evangelistic campaign in Fieni.  It was the 9th this year. The weather this time was a little cold and rainy. People on the streets were usually in a hurry. That is why we couldn't have too many deep conversations with them. But we are glad that we were able to hand out 500 CDs of sermons and testimonies with Christian literature.

Together with the other missionaries we talked and planned our evangelistic activity for this upcoming year. Lord willing, we'll start in April. We also talked about how we could improve this project so that we could be more efficient in preaching the gospel.

According to our statistics we realized that at least 1800 people heard the gospel from us during the nine campaigns. Praise the Lord! If you have any ideas about how we could improve the project, please let us know.  You are a part of this ministry too.

This month we worked hard on the church building. We can finally say it is completely done on the outside. We also painted the walls and changed the heating system. We now have all the facilities we wanted. We thank God for the money He provided and for our heath and skills to build with our own hands.

Now that we came to this stage of the building, I started to intensely think about developing the local mission in Fieni.  I had a meeting with the believers from our church and shared with them my strategy for the rest of the year. I was happy to see them excited. I hope we'll be able to fully serve Christ. My thought is to have several bible study groups in homes. I have a two fold purpose in doing that. One would be for the spiritual edification of the believers and the second would be evangelism. Each believer is challenged to invite friends, family or relatives to the bible study. People in our area are shy when it comes to attending church. It's as if they recant their religion so they have don't have this pressure even though they may be curious to come. I think they would be more relaxed to come over  to somebody's place. They'll have the opportunity to learn about God's Word and consider salvation. Then, they may eventually come to church without being embarrassed about it.

I've already thought about the first group. I made some visits and there were a few people who gave a positive response.  I just have to think when to start exactly. I am going to visit other friends of mine and invite them to the study group. May God give us victory so that His gospel will be proclaimed this way too.

Dear brothers in Christ, thank you for all your moral and financial support that helps us in the ministry. God bless you!
