I continued to work with the kids and teenagers from Coteana. I told them about the salvation plan and the importance of Christ's death. When we talked about sin, I explained to them that our sins separated us from God. Some of the kids gave a few examples of sins and made some crafts to illustrate Isaiah 59:2, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God". Then I told them that Jesus could forgive them of their sins and they could draw near to God. On a different occasion, I told them about heaven and hell.

On September 6, we had a medical and evangelistic team who came. Many people attended. My wife took their blood pressure and they all got glasses. Some of them shared the gospel while waiting. They also received Bible tracts. I was able to meet new people such as the parents of the kids we work with. We are going to visit them and invite them to come to the church in Draganesti.

On September 9-12, we went on a retreat to Sibiu and Alba Iulia. I was happy that three families from Coteana accepted the invitation. The topic of the first three days was "God's Purpose for Man". We also had smaller groups in which we could all express our opinion.  Each family received a book about what we had studied. We will be studying it these coming weeks.

The three families from Coteana expressed their desire to be part of a Bible study. We've had two meetings so far. They want to know more about God's Word. They like to sing praise songs to God. Some of them invited relatives to come to our Bible studies. I mentioned some of them in my previous reports. A family, Gigi and Mirela, offered to give a ride to all who wanted to come to church in Draganesti.

On September 14-15, my wife and I, along with other Heart Cry missionaries attended an evangelistic event in Buzau. We did an outreach in Amaru, Florica and Dolbanu. We started to meet in a smaller group with the people from Draganesti Olt. Some of the people from our church come for the discipleship. My wife and I lead the discussion. They all enjoyed these meetings.
