Philadelphia Church, Sibiu

On May 30, p.m., I preached from Acts 16:11-34 about prayer and emphasized vigilance when praying

Grace Church, Sibiu

May 30, a.m. - I preached from Acts 9 : 1-10. The title of the sermon was "Paul, a Chosen and Devoted to Ministry Christian". I talked about our faithfulness as His servants.

I was in Bacau from June 10 to June 14. I was invited there to preach and have some activities with the teachers.

Bethel Church, Bacau

On June 10, p.m., I preached from Ephesians 6:1-4. The topic was parents/teachers and children/students. I shared with them the structure of a sermon.

On June 13, a.m.,  I preached from Colossians  3:1-4, "The Consequences of Our Resurrection in Christ" with practical applications. In the evening, I preached from John 20:30-31, "Jesus' Divinity in Miracles".  The people shared in the church that they were convicted in their hearts.

Bethel Church, Sibiu

On June 16, a.m, I preached from 1 Timothy 5 about brotherly relationships in church. I told them that the relationships in church are based on our relationship with God, with ourselves and with our neighbors. This can also be seen in Matthew 5:3-5. The beatitudes build character and our character determines the way we act in a relationship.

Vurpar Church, Sibiu

On June 20, p.m., I preached from 1 Corinthians 11: 23-32 about Discernment when having communion. I also read Romans 12:1-2 and Philippians 1:9-11. I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to preach this message to the people in church. At the end of the service, the dean came up to me and said she had never heard such a sermon when having a communion service. After that, I went to a lady's house to give her the communion that was sick. I was blessed to hear her testimony.

Sion Church, Sibiu

On June 23 I preached from Acts 4:1-31 about the power of prayer. I told them that the power of prayer was determined by our walk with God, ourselves and our neighbors. The power of prayer is based on that and it comes from God.

Grace Church, Cristian, SIbiu

On June 27, a.m., I preached from Acts 14 :1-23, "How to Cope with Suffering". In the evening I preached about the Lord's supper and having discernment when being part of it.

Didactical Activities

As the president of the Sunday School teachers community in the area of Sibiu, I coordinated the Bible contest for kids 2010. It took place in the church building of Bethany Church, Sibiu. We had 80 children of different ages and 20 teachers or people who came with them. After grading the tests, we offered diplomas and medals to the best of them. All of them got a participating diploma and some gifts. We gave diplomas to the teachers as well for training the children.

For this contest they had to prepare the following books of Job, Psalms 42-72, James and Jude. I appreciate the their efforts and spiritual success. I thank God for his help in this area too.

Teachers Training

On June 11-12, I was invited to train Sunday school teachers in Bacau. We had 25 teachers. This is the schedule:
- Prayer and edification in the Word
- A lecture about "The Stages of Bible Teaching"
- the structure of the Bible lesson
- demonstrative lesson
- presenting the teaching materials

We decided what steps to make in order to get teaching materials and to have another training session there.


Equipping and Edification Program Activities

I read, underlined and also made an outline of  "Jesus is Victor" by Tozer. I posted my thoughts about what I read on the forum in May.
