Our church celebrated it 12th anniversary last month. It was an important opportunity to proclaim God's Name.  We celebrated it first with the youth by having a special night for them at a restaurant. Other young people were invited to come and hear the gospel. The guest speaker was a professor from a Christian College in Romania. His message was very relevant for the ones that didn't have a relationship with God. It was a good time for our non-Christian friends to hear the Gospel.

We had the actual church anniversary event on Sunday. Once again, we had unbelievers who heard the Gospel in our church. We also had guests from the other churches in our area. It was a good time of fellowship and brotherly love. Our church was blessed to be the host for brothers in Christ and friends who had witnessed our growth and ministry during these years.

Another important event for our church was the kids camp when 10 of them went. As you know, most of the children we work with are not from Christian families. It was a good opportunity to work with their families. We hope and pray that the trust they have in us will someday bear fruit. I know the camp was a good time for the children to hear the Word of truth and I am confident that it will bear fruit in due season.

The biggest event for our church last month was the visit of a big group from Harvest Bible Church in Houston, TX (we are in a partnership with this church). We had 18 people who came and blessed us. They worked hard. We managed to have VBS in 5 different places, including Fieni. We had quite a  ministry in Pucioasa. Over 60 kids came during those days. All of these children had the same T-shirts with a Bible verse on the back. I am sure they were quite a sight for the people. We're sure that what we were able to do couldn't stay anonymous. Praise God for that! Our prayer is that the little seed that was planted will grow into a big tree.

The VBS in Magura, Vulcana Bai and Varfuri had the same impact, especially in Varfuri. We started the ministry there last year. God used the VBS in an unexpected way. More than 35 children heard the Gospel during those days. We even had parents who came and wanted to know what we were doing. They were impressed. It's like back in the times of Giddeon, when the rolling stone got bigger and bigger. One of the ladies seemed to be very interested in attending our meetings. Her name is Cristina and she is a young mother, around 30. Please pray for her.  We are looking into the possibility of getting together with the adults every week . We will also continue to work with the children once a week every Friday at 4 p.m. There are already a few teenagers we've made good friends with. They have always accepted our invitations to come to different events here in Pucioasa. I think it's time we started something with the teenagers in Varfuri. Pray for Robert, Alexandra, Ancuta and Georgiana who are the people that seemed interested in knowing more about God. They help us a lot with their enthusiasm to do the work there in Varfuri.

God used me in the ministry of personal evangelism as I witnessed to four new people. I strengthened my relationship with Alex, Mr.Alexandru, Cerasela, Sandu and Mariana. I had the opportunity to encourage them to turn to the Savior.

I want to share with you something from the youth ministry. Two high school girls, Maria and Laura decided to follow the Lord. They're part of our group and they have the desire to know more about God.

Yes, God blessed us with good news this month as well. May His mercy keep flowing over us here in Pucioasa!

Just a few words about the construction. By God's mercy we were able to put in the ceiling. It's simply a reminder of His care for us as we had no financial promises from anyone, just His mercy and grace!
