Dear brothers and sisters,

With great joy in my heart I am delighted to announce to you that on June 1, 2010 the Lord united me in marriage to Trisha Mock of Lynchburg, Virginia. We are grateful for the sovereign work of God in our lives and for the amazing way God has worked to bring us together in marriage. As we look back we can see that every step of our life has been ordained by God in a very precise and detailed way. We can only say that we marvel over the perfect and marvelous plan of God for our lives.

Our wedding took place in Fincastle, Virginia, and we were blessed to have a great day. It meant a lot to my dear wife to have a nice and sunny day as our wedding took place outside. The days prior to the wedding were cloudy and rainy and according to the forecast there was 80% chance of rain. But we prayed and had outstanding weather for our wedding. Once again, God was faithful and gave us a special gift on our wedding day.

We also are grateful for the Word that was proclaimed in our wedding service. We had Pastor Ryan Fullerton, Don Currin and Paul Washer, along with pastor Don Rice who officiated our wedding vows. Those who attended our wedding and are not yet converted had a great chance to hear God's Word and the Gospel preached with power that was clearly presented by these men of God. It is our purpose in marriage to honor Christ and display His glory and grace. Our prayer is that our relationship would be a reflection of His love for the Church and for the lost.

After the wedding we spent a few days in the mountains where we began to learn the first steps in family life. We returned to Lynchburg for two more weeks to spend time with Trisha's family and friends. This time was vital as we decided to leave the United States on June 22 and go to Romania. It is our conviction that God has called us to serve the Kingdom of God in the country of Romania and also other countries in Eastern Europe. We also have a strong conviction that God called us to plant a new church in Romania. This is going to be in the city of Brasov that is situated in the central part of Romania. I have already secured an apartment there before returning to the States for the wedding.

The two weeks in Lynchburg were fruitful. We visited many families to fellowship and say good bye before leaving. We also helped a family in which Trisha was a nanny by spending time with their children during the heart surgery of their little child. We prayed that God will intervene in this difficult surgery. We rejoiced when we saw that in one week the child was at home, recovering well. God listened to our prayers and did a miracle.

Although I was on my honeymoon, I had the opportunity of visiting churches and preaching. I spoke in two churches and preached God's Word in a church in Lynchburg.

On June 22, we departed for our trip to Romania. On June 26, we had a service and reception for my family and friends in Romania, followed by a longer honeymoon in Turkey. We can only give praise to the Lord who has worked in such a unique way in our lives. We want to express our gratefulness to all those who prayed for us over the years. We have seen God's hand putting all things together and bringing us to this step in our life when we became one.

We also want to thank you for supporting our ministry in Romania and Eastern Europe.
We look forward to see great things happen. We are here to serve the risen Lamb and to proclaim the Gospel to the nations. We would appreciate your prayers for us as a new couple that is willing to serve the Lord with all our hearts.

We love you and thank you for your love for us,

Sorin and Trisha Prodan
