I waited with great excitement for the month of May because it is the most intense and blessed month of the year for me. It is the month when we have our HeartCry Conferences. This spring, we had five conferences, but we could have taught in many more. We have received requests to hold conferences all over Romania, but we are limited in time to respond to all these requests. Brother Paul Washer arrived in Romania on May 6 where he held a few teaching conferences. As soon as he arrived, we began the first conference that took place in Bucharest. Holy Trinity Church hosted this first conference with the topic of "The Reality of Spiritual Warfare". While Paul was the main speaker of this conference we also had Cristi C., Adrian B. and myself. This was the first conference that I have taught with Brother Paul Washer in.
This was the second HeartCry Conference where I actually was one of the speakers. This is a new experience for me. I am learning as I have traveled with good speakers. We had around 600 people who attended this first conference, most of which were young people. We also went to speak in a conference of one of the Brethren Churches in Bucharest. The church was full and many people were standing in the courtyard. God used Paul in a unique way. The message was powerful and full of wisdom.
The second conference was the HeartCry Conference for the HeartCry missionaries. We had our missionaries from Romania, Moldova, and Serbia. The missionaries from Ukraine were not able to come because of the visa. We pray that we will go there to have a conference in their country. This year we had our missionaries and their wives. Our speakers were Paul Washer, Conrad Mbewe and Don Currin. We were blessed in a unique way, being under such a great teaching. The conference was close to the city of Brasov, so we went in two different nights to Transylvania University, where Paul and Conrad spoke.
After the conference with the HeartCry missionaries, we held a third conference in the city of Brasov. In this conference we had people coming from all the evangelical churches in Brasov, but also people from many cities in Romania. It was such a phenomenal time as we saw God's hand on His messangers. Each message was full of God's power. Over the second weekend each of our brothers spoke in different churches in the area of Brasov and Pucioasa.
After these three conferences, Paul Washer returned to the States and I continued the conference tour with Bro. Conrad Mbewe and Bro. Don Currin and his wife. We drove for a whole day and reached the city of Moldova Veche, which is a city at the border of Serbia. There we had a seminar with the pastors from the area and also evening meetings in a conference that was a great time for all the people living along the Danube River.
The last conference took place in Resita. There were two nights of speaking in conferences. We also went to the Baptist High School where Bro. Don and Bro. Conrad each shared a message.
My heart is joyful for such times like these. We appreciate your prayers and support. These things would not have happened without your generosity.
