Greetings in the Name of our Risen Lord! I would like to express my gratitude for the support you sent to us for the three day prayer and fasting week-end. We had this special time before the Lord with students from Brasov, and Sibiu. Here are a few words from those who participated in the event:
"For me it’s been a blessing to have this wonderful time of fellowship together with our friends from Brasov. I’m from Sibiu. During this time God truly changed me. Thank you for your support and may God bless you and reward you. I thank God for this time He has given me. He really worked in my life during these days, but I pray that He will continue to do that. It’s been a real blessing. David, student in Sibiu
Anita, professor in Sibiu Hello from Romania! We had a spiritual fire while others gather to see how a house next door was burning. Thank you for sharing with us what God gave you to manage on this earth. May His Will be done in every second of our lives! Iulian Bolog, student in Bucharest This has been a great time I spent this weekend with God to learn more about Him. We all sang to Him, praised Him, bounded, and our faith in Him grew stronger. I learned how important He is and that we should give our life as a gift to Him and let Him guide the way so that we can be the way He wants us to. I made some new friends too. I will leave this place with a more joyful heart, knowing that there is a place for me in His kingdom. Ciorogar Daniel, student in Sibiu Dear Friends, I want to thank you for all things you’ve done for this prayer weekend to happen! God really spoke to me! I was blessed to be here and meet other brothers in Christ. We shared lots of encouraging things and prayed that the Lord will be with us every day and give us strength in this evil world. The main idea is that God is faithful all the time and He’s the only way for real happiness and peace. I am convinced that God would never disappoint me. Be blessed! Love in Christ. Ana Goga, graduated in Brasov Thank you so much for supporting our weekend of prayer in this nice location. We had a wonderful fellowship and a blessed time here! May God reward you for every thing you’ve done for us! This experience encouraged me to find delight and fulfillment in God’s presence! God bless you. Roxana, a female student in Brasov For me, it’s been a great time. God examined my heart and spoke to my soul. This time helped me know more about God. Such times are pretty rare. Thank you so much! Marius B.-student in Brasov Dear friends, It’s been such a blessing for my heart to attend this prayer and fasting meeting this weekend in Brasov along with people from different churches. May God bless you for supporting us and I hope we will get to meet again one day. This meeting has generated big changes in my heart. I made the decision to take the idols out of my heart and allow Him to rule over my heart. I hope we will have these kind of meetings again because this has been a real blessing for us. God bless you! Gelu –student in Sibiu Thank you very much for your blessing. We had a wonderful time. God spoke to me about not letting little things keep me busy and not praise & worship my Lord every day and worship Jesus with my life. I learned that it was very important what I listened to, what I watched, the way I dressed, and the words that I spoke. I must be sensitive to the Spirit and discern what things are good and pleasing to the Lord.I also realized something about idols, to not let anything, not even good things (church activities) keep me from enjoying the presence of the Lord. God bless you! Delia –a female student in Brasov
During this time God has spoken to me to be ready to accept His will rather than than my own comfort. Nelu- student in Brasov Dear brothers and sisters, I would like to thank you for your gift. We had a beautiful weekend as we spent time together in the presence of God, a very special and meaningful time. We worshiped Him and He came among us filling this place with grace, mercy, and forgiveness. His Holy Spirit has done important things in every heart. We are different from what we were when we came here. We are thankful and pray that the Lord will bless you and reward you. In His name and love in Christ. Eliza—a female student in Sibiu This time of fasting and prayer helped me realize that I was wasting my time on “things to do” and not taking enough time to spend with Him in silence. It’s been a time of renewal of my love and rededication for Him! Thank you for making this possible! Ramona –missionary in Brasov This time has been a real victory for us as we go through the spiritual battle working with the students. After this time in Brasov, we had another fasting and prayer time with the team and students from Bacau. We had this time last weekend. Knowing that the faculty of the University of Bacau had forbidden us to do outreach within campus, we decided to go before the Lord and ask for His help. We needed to seek God. We did not seek human solutions, such as appealing to human rights and religious freedom. So, we just fasted and prayed. Our Lord has not delayed with his answer because on April 21, the Lord opened a door in a private University in Bacau. We entered into a partnership with this University that offered us a class-room and the freedom to work with their students. We continue to pray that God will open doors in the public university, where the Dean has forbidden us to work. Please, continue to pray that God will open a door to work among these students. It is interesting that the President of the Student League is in a good relationship with the Orthodox Association for students. His name is Mihai B. He told bad things about us to the President of the University who asked all the deans of every college to forbid us to have any kind of activity within campus. He called the police when our students gave out our magazine on campus, and along with this Orthodox Association, he started to provide fun events for the students to entertain them, sometimes even with immoral things. This is not a surprise for us because for a student as Mihai B., Christianity is not sanctification and a life with Christ.
