This last month I went to Resita and had my graduation ceremony there. We were given out school diplomas.

With God help, I continued to work with the new converts from our church. We also taught the baptism preparation study with them. Lord willing, we hope to have a baptism service at the end of August. Please pray for that.

The ladies from our church had the opportunity to continue the women' s ministry. They met three times this month. It was a lady from the Holy Trinity Church in Bucharest that came and motivated them to pray and how to act in their families, especially if they had unbelieving spouses. Please pray for this ministry.

The men of the church also continued to get together and have fellowship. We talk about things we don't understand from the Bible. The new converts usually have many questions and they want to know biblical truth. That gives us new opportunities to share the Gospel. A family of musicians got interested in the Word of God this way. They've been coming to our church ever since.

Valentina, 53 years old, is a singer. She is pretty famous among the Gipsy people as she has been on television many times. God touched her heart and she received Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Marian, 28 years old, is violin player. He has some serious problems and I would like you to pray for him. He's been a drug addict for 12 years. He used heroine and had many friends from Bucharest. This young man has ruined his life. I spent a lot of time talking to him, teaching him how he could stay away from all that. But, with tears in his eyes, he told me he couldn't. He felt a driving force to inject himself with heroine. I prayed with him but he was very much addicted to drugs. His mother was devastated. I challenged the church to fast and pray for this young man. Then I took several people from the church and we went to his place to pray. We laid our hands on him and prayed for him to be free from his bondage. While we were praying, the young man started to cry and feel God's presence in his life.

God caused him to have a disease that kept him from drugs. He spent three days in the hospital. This family saw God's hand working. His wife, Cristina, yielded her life to the Lord too. They have a 7 year old daughter, Rebecca.

We had a campaign of gathering clothes and food to send relief to the people living in the flooded areas from Moldova. I was happy to see the people response to this initiative. Please pray for those people.
