The Lord has worked mightily in our area this month. We had a guest who is a police officer who had become a Christian 8 years ago.

On July 11, during the morning service in Tunari, two people gave their lives to Christ. They keep coming to the church.

On July 18, we had an evangelistic service at church. We had the evening service outside in the church yard. We had somebody who played the keyboard with amplifiers. Around 70 people came and two of them prayed to receive Christ. They've been coming to church ever since.

Another gentleman, Marin, who was there, called me the next day to tell me that he had been very anxious. He wanted Christ but was afraid to seek out help. I told him it was because of his master, the devil. He said he wanted to give his life to Christ. I told him I would be looking forward to that.  Marin showed up the following Sunday and listened carefully to the sermon. At the end of the service he knelt down and the whole church prayed for him.

Marin used to be a cigarette smuggler. He would only work 2 hours per night and get a 500 euros salary. He was part of a dangerous group of people. He even said one time that he could do without God in his life. But that day he got caught by the customs police. They took $3000 from him. When he remembered that, he felt very sorry and asked for God's forgiveness.

He used to be a man who would listen to music day and night without caring about his neighbors. But after the change in his life, when he got home, he turned on the TV and watched a Christian channel. His wife was surprise to see the change in his life. The night after he trusted the Lord, Marin was tempted to ask his wife to give him money to go and gamble. But his wife reminded him of his commitment and he felt ashamed. Please pray for Marin.

Marcel is 40 years old and is married to Viorica. They have a child. He works in construction. Although he grew up in a Christian family, he took the way of the world and lived a sinful life when he became an adult.

I got to meet with Marcel on several occasions. He eventually told me why he postponed getting right with God. A long time ago, he had a fight with his father. Marcel wouldn't make that decision because he didn't want to make his family happy (both his father and brothers are Christians). He told me he had made the decision to never accept Christ in his life. But I promised I would pray for him and ask God to forgive him of his foolish decision. Although it was almost midnight, I talked to Marcel right in the middle of the street and prayed for him. That night, his life took another turn, he is now walking with God. Marcel does his best to have victory over sins and prays that God will make him victorious.
He called his family to give them the good news that he was a child of God. Marcel also started to read his Bible and pray. Now he tells others about the change in his life.
