Whenever I have the opportunity to have a talk with somebody, I also try to talk about the Lord. When the others were telling me about their family, I would ask them about their relationship with the Lord. Then we would start talking about their lives. I've noticed people rely on their good works and they want God to reward them for the good they do.
I told one person that he was more sinful than he ever thought, which is true for all mankind.
I have friends with whom I started to talk about God and my intention was to visit them.
People in Coteana spend their spare time standing outside their home on the street. When I visit the place, I get to talk to them. They know I am a Christian and they sometimes start the discussion.
I was happy to see that two of the teenagers from our group read the whole New Testament. They wrote down their favorite verse from each chapter. One of them had three notebooks full of verses. These two boys along with another girl finished reading the Illustrated Bible for Kids. They also answered all the questions which was around 200. I would like to have a personal discussion with one of the boys. The other kids read 20-30 lessons and answered the questions.
One of the parents when he found out his son was coming to our group threatened me, saying he would beat me if I ever came to Coteana. He was very angry when he left. But I thought I shouldn't give up. The second time I met him, I asked him whether I could visit him at his place and talk about God. Although he refused, we talked for about an hour. He admitted he was sinful and that there would be a judgment.
I did my best to help our church members, offering them advice, encouragement and correction. I also tried to help them with their family problems and I had a sermon that motivated the church to love our neighbors as Christ loved us.
